A Biblical Account of a "Baby" Prophet

Can I say this? - I have been called a "baby" prophet by many, and it literally hurt, because such ideas are not biblical. There is no such thing as a "senior" prophet. God calls. God gifts. God directs. For those who are "new" in the prophetic, or disregarded due to "inexperience," PLEASE BE ENCOURAGED!!!

Now, I laugh when I am called a "baby" prophet and when I hear others say it, because God showed me what He can do with one who is "new" and raw in the prophetic.

1Sa 3:1 And the child Samuel ministered unto the LORD before Eli. And the word of the LORD was precious in those days; there was no open vision.
1Sa 3:2 And it came to pass at that time, when Eli was laid down in his place, and his eyes began to wax dim, that he could not see;
1Sa 3:3 And ere the lamp of God went out in the temple of the LORD, where the ark of God was, and Samuel was laid down to sleep;
1Sa 3:4 That the LORD called Samuel: and he answered, Here am I.
1Sa 3:5 And he ran unto Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou calledst me. And he said, I called not; lie down again. And he went and lay down.
1Sa 3:6 And the LORD called yet again, Samuel. And Samuel arose and went to Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou didst call me. And he answered, I called not, my son; lie down again.
1Sa 3:7 Now Samuel did not yet know the LORD, neither was the word of the LORD yet revealed unto him.
1Sa 3:8 And the LORD called Samuel again the third time. And he arose and went to Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou didst call me. And Eli perceived that the LORD had called the child.
1Sa 3:9 Therefore Eli said unto Samuel, Go, lie down: and it shall be, if he call thee, that thou shalt say, Speak, LORD; for thy servant heareth. So Samuel went and lay down in his place.
1Sa 3:10 And the LORD came, and stood, and called as at other times, Samuel, Samuel. Then Samuel answered, Speak; for thy servant heareth.
1Sa 3:11 And the LORD said to Samuel, Behold, I will do a thing in Israel, at which both the ears of every one that heareth it shall tingle.
1Sa 3:12 In that day I will perform against Eli all things which I have spoken concerning his house: when I begin, I will also make an end.
1Sa 3:13 For I have told him that I will judge his house for ever for the iniquity which he knoweth; because his sons made themselves vile, and he restrained them not.
1Sa 3:14 And therefore I have sworn unto the house of Eli, that the iniquity of Eli's house shall not be purged with sacrifice nor offering for ever.
1Sa 3:15 And Samuel lay until the morning, and opened the doors of the house of the LORD. And Samuel feared to shew Eli the vision.
1Sa 3:16 Then Eli called Samuel, and said, Samuel, my son. And he answered, Here am I.
1Sa 3:17 And he said, What is the thing that the LORD hath said unto thee? I pray thee hide it not from me: God do so to thee, and more also, if thou hide any thing from me of all the things that he said unto thee.
1Sa 3:18 And Samuel told him every whit, and hid nothing from him. And he said, It is the LORD: let him do what seemeth him good.
1Sa 3:19 And Samuel grew, and the LORD was with him, and did let none of his words fall to the ground.
1Sa 3:20 And all Israel from Dan even to Beersheba knew that Samuel was established to be a prophet of the LORD.
1Sa 3:21 And the LORD appeared again in Shiloh: for the LORD revealed himself to Samuel in Shiloh by the word of the LORD.

Yes, the "baby" prophet was used to speak DEATH unto the very "senior" that was training Him. We must be careful to categorize those that are called based on our own expectations. We MUST be moved by the spirit of God and discernment. Even Eli knew his "pupil" was hearing from God.

And although Samuel was afraid (I can only imagine), he was OBEDIENT, even in his seemingly immature state! LET GOD'S WILL BE DONE!

Defile the House

Many prophets claim they are called to the rebellious house, yet God does not call anyone to a place to remain idol. He calls His people to work - He calls His people to battle! The prophets have not sounded the alarm in the HOLY MOUNTAIN. The prophets have cried aloud, but continue to SPARE!

God reminded me that I am to tear down altars and DEFILE HOUSES. Wow! Now, I'm not saying we have a free ticket to be disobedient and disrespect GODLY people or the house of GOD. So, please read and understand with maturity. What I am saying is that God would not cause a mouthpiece to speak correction if there was nothing to be corrected. Yes, there are spiritual altars, but there are natural ones that have been formed as well. Yet, we have covered our FEAR to correct by saying things like, "We must operate in order."

Years ago, God asked me a question. I respectfully corrected a DEMON in the church, and the people told me I was out of order. God asked, "Who's order? I sent you." That thing really stuck with me. Do you not know, prophets, that you are called to CORRECT and/or TEAR DOWN. Yes, there are some places where things should be shut down. Some people should be offended. Some should even feel disrespected. THERE ARE SOME DEMONS RUNNING CHURCHES! Therefore, these are NOT God's houses. He is not welcome there. An altar built unto an idol CANNOT be "restored" unto God.

I've used this example before, but bare with me...

If my husband bought a ring for an old girlfriend, then tries to give me the same ring for our anniversary, I will NOT by happy? Why? That ring was bought for someone else. It symbolizes his love to another. By passing it on to me, I feel that I have not been valued. I'm stuck with someone else's leftovers. God is tired of getting leftovers that were sacrificed to wicked gain and filthy lucre. He's tired of us trying to speak forth holiness in edifices that worship men in nice suits, rather than the Almighty God.

Where is the power and the authority? I lost some of it, but God is restoring it unto me. It's an honor to be drug out of a building for Christ's sake! Someone should be speaking destruction. God spoke to me today and said He is calling some to DO what Ezekiel saw. He then instructed me to read Ezekiel 8 and 9. Here is a portion of that passage:

Eze 9:4 And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.
Eze 9:5 And to the others he said in mine hearing, Go ye after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity:
Eze 9:6 Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house.
Eze 9:7 And he said unto them, Defile the house, and fill the courts with the slain: go ye forth. And they went forth, and slew in the city.

God showed the wickedness of His people to Ezekiel. In essence, He told the angels to protect the remnant, and kill the others right before the prophet's eyes. Then, the angels filled the temple and the altar with the dead! Ezekiel's job was to watch and declare.

We are insulting God by going into some of these dens of devils and making people shout! That's not a prophet's job!

God began to show me something in the Spirit today. I saw the prophets in the USA being sued by churches for threatening their freedom of religion. They were being tried for hate crimes (for inciting riots based on religion), and those charging them were "church folk." God showed me that in this country, those who call themselves saints pose a bigger threat than the Muslims, the Catholics, etc. Judgment begins at the house of God, and so will the FIGHT for holiness.

This is a praying time - and a time to defile some altars and temples that are not of God!

Look at my DADDY!!!!

I received the following email message from a woman of God today. I don't know if she would want her name posted, so we'll call her Prophetess S.S. This prophet of God know OF me, but she doesn't know me. She has seen the Lord write through me, but has no idea of the things I have been going through and dealing with. There is so much no one knows other than my Heavenly Father and me.

I am at work, but when I received this, I danced and screamed. It may seem simple to most, but when you feel as if you fighting against the pricks, just trying to please God, a simple word can mean so much! I am encouraged, and I know my Daddy loves me!

Prophetess S.S., thank you for being obedient. You don't know the half, but you obeyed the God that does!!!

Where is Prophet JOY? Is she M.I.A.?

Is not the JOY of the Lord your strength? Did I not give you the spirit of JOY to share with others? Is it not true that weeping may endure for a night but JOY cometh in the morning? Then think it not strange that Devil might fight to steal your JOY!!!

JOY……where is my JOY? God is not a man that He should lie; neither the son of man that he should repent! Bring the spirit of JOY to the world!!!!

Whatever attacked you in this last season came to steal your JOY but God said He is given you power over those spirits! The devil has no right to anything you have……especially your JOY!!! It is a gift from God and He expects you to infuse His glory of JOY to the nations!!!! Go forth in the name of JESUS and tell them of the Good News!!!!! JESUS CHRIST!

Where is your JOY? Where is Prophetess JOY?

God put you on my heart and I hear God calling you to come forth!!! Its your time!!!

When Obedience HURTS

I LOVE GOD and want to please Him. Even in that, God spoke to me through my Pastor and said that I need to empty out. Sometimes, it's hard for us to hear the word and accept CHANGE because we want to please God, but have missed HIS method of doing it.

1Ch 15:13 For because ye did it not at the first, the LORD our God made a breach upon us, for that we sought him not after the due order.

I just want to put myself out there one moment, praying it will help someone else. Let me start by saying that if you truly want to please God, He will send instruction. If you seek Him, you WILL find Him, though perhaps not the way you originally intended.

This is what I am dealing with in ministry. God gave me vision for ministry. He gave me instruction, and I followed that. However, the season is changing. Now, there is a newness to walk in, AND IT IS HARD! It is hard to "start over" when you've served God so intimately for so long. It's sometimes hard to be taught when you're used to being the teacher. Yet, this is the price that must be paid for a NEW LEVEL and a NEW DIMENSION in Him. As we grow from glory to glory, the PRICE GETS HIGHER. The challenge becomes harder and more profound. We must rejoice in knowing that God is just calling us to new promotion.

Over the weekend, I toiled over some instruction my Pastors gave me. I'm going to share a high-level overview of that for the sake of this post. I was "sat down" from some things, and at first I was hurt, confused and angry. YES, I was! I asked God, why would I be sat down from ministry for doing ministry that you told me to do? Now, that was my mistake. True obedience would have been to act without question. I'll deal with that in a moment. Let me share my rebuke, because I PRAY this will help somebody. I KNOW this will help somebody, because I'm not in the habit of putting myself out there like this.

Anyway, I told God that I wanted to be obedient, but that I didn't completely understand WHY this was happening. I understood the point that was being made, but I felt the "punishment" was fit for a sinner - not one who had GOOD INTENTIONS. So, I prayed for wisdom. In the midst of that prayer, God stopped me and asked me, "What was Solomon's prayer?" Of course, I said that Solomon prayed for wisdom. God said, "No - go back and look at it again." This is what I read...

1Ki 3:5 In Gibeon the LORD appeared to Solomon in a dream by night: and God said, Ask what I shall give thee.
1Ki 3:6 And Solomon said, Thou hast shewed unto thy servant David my father great mercy, according as he walked before thee in truth, and in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with thee; and thou hast kept for him this great kindness, that thou hast given him a son to sit on his throne, as it is this day.
1Ki 3:7 And now, O LORD my God, thou hast made thy servant king instead of David my father: and I am but a little child: I know not how to go out or come in.
1Ki 3:8 And thy servant is in the midst of thy people which thou hast chosen, a great people, that cannot be numbered nor counted for multitude.
1Ki 3:9 Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart to judge thy people, that I may discern between good and bad: for who is able to judge this thy so great a people?
1Ki 3:10 And the speech pleased the Lord, that Solomon had asked this thing.

First of all, Solomon's prayer was not what we consider to be a typical prayer. He didn't "steal away" and enter a closet. Solomon was dreaming, and God asked him a question. GOD SOUGHT SOLOMON TO BLESS HIM IN HIS APPOINTED POSITION. My God!

Now, Adonijah first expected to be king, according to the Scriptures, after David died. He was older than Solomon, and the Bible says he was a "goodly" man. He was a Levite, and followed all the proper channels to take the throne. He even consulted with the priests. He did ministry correctly, YET GOD CALLED SOLOMON. He had a HEART to be king. He followed the ORDER to be king, but he wasn't ORDAINED to be king by God. According to law, tradition and religion, Adonijah did nothing wrong. However, GOD HAD NOT CALLED HIM, despite his qualifications. Nathan, the prophet took heed to this fact.

Now, as God got Solomon's attention, he asked him what he wanted. Many of us say Solomon asked for wisdom, but God showed me it was much deeper and more SPECIFIC than that...

1Ki 3:9 Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart to judge thy people, that I may discern between good and bad: for who is able to judge this thy so great a people?

Solomon asked for a pure and understanding heart for judgment. He also asked for discernment. He was called as a prophet and a king. Now, why wasn't God pleased when I asked for wisdom? He showed me, and this was so profound. I asked for wisdom because I needed comfort and reassurance. Solomon prayed for these things because they EQUIPPED HIM TO DO WHAT GOD SAID TO DO. This is what pleased God. Instead of sending up a prayer to comfort me, I should have sent forth a prayer to make me obedient and more equipped to move where God said to move, even through my leaders.

Can I tell you that this FREED me? Such a simple revelation, but it struck a cord in me. I DO WANT TO PLEASE God, and even in my error, He has given me yet another rebuke to help me do just that!

Now, I must share one last thing. As I said, I was hurt and I asked God the proverbial, "Why me?"

God showed me something about trusting HIM through leaders. He asked me if I really trusted Him. I knew it to be a trick question, and I told God I thought I did, but had a hard time placing that trust in people. God told me that He loves His people. And if we are obedient to those we are placed under, even if they completely lose their minds, he WILL bless. He said to me, "If I tell you to follow a donkey, and you do it in obedience to Me, I will even cause that donkey to bless you and teach you. Why? Because I love YOU." See, this is not about trusting and/or judging leaders. It's about trusting GOD to take care of us in any given situation.

Now, I must say that I LOVE my Pastors. I have been confused by some things and have even disagreed with some things they may have taught or said. Today, I REPENT for those things. I repent for the extra stress I've added with my stubbornness. I AM SORRY - I sincerely apologize. I was wrong and did not fully understand the level to which God is calling me. Honestly, in many respects, I thought I could not ascend past the point I was at. I didn't believe and trust that GOD loved me enough or called me to such a place of authority and power in His Kingdom.

I am learning and understanding now. This is VERY hard and humbling for me, but I want to please my Father. To GOD be the glory!

Did You Move PAST Christ or THROUGH Christ to Get to the Father?

Mal 3:1 BEHOLD, I send My messenger, and he shall prepare the way before Me. And the Lord [the Messiah], Whom you seek, will suddenly come to His temple; the Messenger {or} Angel of the covenant, Whom you desire, behold, He shall come, says the Lord of hosts.

Mal 3:2 But who can endure the day of His coming? And who can stand when He appears? For He is like a refiner's fire and like fullers' soap;

Mal 3:3 He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver, and He will purify the priests, the sons of Levi, and refine them like gold and silver, that they may offer to the Lord offerings in righteousness.

Why are the elect struggling to fulfill the will of God? Why are the Apostles and the Prophets struggling to hear His voice? God said His people have neglected the purpose of Christ for the priests. He said we have accepted only that Christ died for us, but did not allow Him to cleanse us appropriately. Too many in the Body have stepped on the Savior and claimed access to the Father, yet even this is not according to His due order.

God showed me that the Word of God has not been allowed to purify many who claim to have direct access to the Father. One cannot offer oneself a living sacrifice unto God until the Word of God and the Gospel of Jesus Christ, our Savior, has burned away the impurities. Only then can a righteous vessel be used of God.

In the Spirit, I can see prophets, apostles – great men and women of God – shaking the hand of Jesus’ and attempting to approach the throne, just because they’ve accepted that He is real. Yet, only those who have been purified are able to stay in His presence. Only those who have been cleansed and transformed by the blood of Christ are able to abide under the shadow of the Almighty God. I see Jesus stripping those who are willing to sit in His presence and baste in the written Word, desiring to be purified before attempting to gain access to the throne.

Christ is our access to the Father, yet He is a refining fire. Too many of us have run through the door, afraid of getting burned. When will the people of God learn that we cannot cheat God’s plan?

Called to Spiritual Warfare? Do You Ever Win?

God spoke so clearly to me this afternoon as I sat at my office desk. I was thinking about all the “trainers” and “leaders” I’ve had in my life and all the “lessons” I received in spiritual warfare. God has been reminding me over the last few weeks about ministry He has called me to, and I realized that I have veered off, caught up by many distractions. I am moving forward with a fresh mission to RETURN and fulfill the purpose I have missed in ministry, part of which is spiritual warfare.

God reminded me that He doesn’t call us to battle against the enemy and allow us to lose. Somehow, the Body of Christ has accepted the idea that when we engage in spiritual warfare, we are “meant” to lose some battles. NOT SO!

God has reminded me of some training and is rebuilding some of the faith, power and godly boldness I lost because of the lies heard from “church folk.” It was once said that those who can do, and those who can’t teach. While I don’t agree completely with this statement, I see it often in the Body of Christ. Many are teaching in areas where they themselves are failures, thereby teaching others that it’s okay to “miss.”

That’s not good enough in this season! I will not settle for such a ministry. I believe there are others who will refuse the mediocre as well. I pray this encourages those of you who claim to have ministries of deliverance. I pray it will challenge those who operate in spiritual warfare. In all your praying, all your fighting and all your struggle, HAVE YOU EVER WON? That’s what God is asking me today. What is your record?

Training is the only way to improve the statistics. When boxers begin to lose rank due to losses, they go into training. Then they practice. They lose weight and build muscle. They eat strategically and talk to themselves to build ego and anger toward the opponent.

Some of us have had some losing battles lately. There’s some sin we came up against, and it’s still present. We attempted to cast out some demons that never left. We’ve laid hands on some people, but didn’t see them healed. Some of us need to step out of the forefront and go back into training. We need to practice – deliver some folks in our own homes and churches before taking on the world. We need to lose the heaviness of tradition. We need to fast and get back into the Word. We need to encourage ourselves in the Lord.

Let me just share a very personal thing I went through last week. Perhaps none of you can relate, but I must expose this to set myself free – AMEN. Last week, I continuously asked God if I could stop calling myself a prophet. I had two reasons – (1) I didn’t want to be associated with all the other “prophets” floating around and (2) I have not reached the level in the prophetic that I know God is calling me to. In fact, I have lost much of my confidence as a prophet. It’s not because I doubt my calling or the gift. I know that I hear from God and know He shows me things (dreams, visions, etc.). The gifts have been in operation since birth. It’s realizing the authority to speak and having the faith of God to watch the atmosphere take shape – those are the challenges. Of course, God has not allowed me to escape the assignment, but I allowed to do one thing – walk in honesty that others can be encouraged. I'm ready to go to the next level - anyone ready and willing to go with me?

Now, with that said, God has not called or assigned His people to fail. He puts no more on us than what we can bear, so the excuses for SLOPPY ministry must cease. The signs and wonders MUST come forth. The prophecies WILL come to pass. The sick and lame SHALL be healed.

In your warfare, how many battles have you won?

A Word of Instruction Unto the Body of Christ

My people seek healing and restoration, but who among you truly desires my presence? Who is willing to sacrifice and abase themselves in order for Me to heal and set free? Did I not instruct you to pray, seek My face and turn from your wicked ways? Yet, there is no turning, because you do not see your error. There is no repentance because you refuse to confess. My people have forsaken my presence for entertainment. Seeking My face has become a burden unto you. So shall you remain sick until you truly allow the flesh to die. You shall remain sick until you are content in my presence. Your agenda must die. Your plan will perish. Have I not ordered your steps? Do I not have plans to bring you into an expected end? Why then do you not follow my instruction? Return now to your first love. Return to the yearning you once had to please me. Consider your ways, that you seek to please men. You cannot serve two masters. Why do you seek recreation when I am calling you as a minister unto my people? Why do you seek honor and prestige when I am calling you to servanthood? Humble yourselves, and I will lift you up!

Time is drawing near. There is no power in your plan. Your accomplishments will not enable you to stand. I have called the foolish things of this world to confound the wise. Do not lean to your own understanding. Why do you seek to be understood? Why do you seek to be noticed and applauded? Why do you seek the approval of men? There is no time to waste. I am your hedge of protection. Do not forsake me, seeking your own way. Dwell now within My secret place. Speak only what I instruct you to speak. Move only when I command you to move. Draw nigh and see the mighty hand of your God.

Jer 8:22 Is there no balm in Gilead? Is there no physician there? Why then is not the health of the daughter of my people restored? [Because Zion no longer enjoyed the presence of the Great Physician!]

Why Not be a Homosexual?

Just like the next saint of God, I hate and despise the sin of homosexuality. Not only is it a sin against God, but it is a sin against nature. However, God spoke to me tonight when I read a quote by an old saint, Martin Niemöller (1892-1984). This man of God founded a Bible-believing church movement in Germany and was imprisoned in a Nazi concentration camp in the 1930's. As he reflected on that time, he often preached that silence is a sin of omission. In other words, by not speaking out against a thing, the person attributes to the problem and passively approves it. This is the quote I read when God began to speak:

"First they [the Nazis] came for the Communists, but I was not a Communist—so I said nothing. Then they came for the Social Democrats, but I was not a Social Democrat—so I did nothing. Then came the trade unionists, but I was not a trade unionist. And then they came for the Jews, but I was not a Jew—so I did little. Then when they came for me, there was no one left who could stand up for me."

God began to deal with me about the imbalance of prophetic utterance in the church. God has called his prophets to proclaim HIS heart, though many times we speak only the portion of God's heart that agrees with our own! Like the quote explains, we preach against only those things that offend us directly. We speak out only against the obvious, ignoring the "small" things that don't make us look like heroes. Yes, I am guilty of what God is showing me. Often, we preach against homosexuality in the world, but neglect the other sins right in the Body of Christ that bring God sorrow and reproach.

Why not be a homosexual? The very reasons we preach against this terrible sin are still problems with others PRACTICED AND IGNORED in the Body of Christ. God said we must be holy as He is holy. Jesus taught that a man who breaks a portion of the law is guilty of it all. Yes, we must continue to cry out against sexual immorality, but we must also begin to expose the subtle areas where the enemy has crept in. Many of us are guilty in these "hidden" areas...

1 Cor 6:18 Shun immorality {and} all sexual looseness [flee from impurity in thought, word, or deed]. Any other sin which a man commits is one outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.

1 Cor 6:19 Do you not know that your body is the temple (the very sanctuary) of the Holy Spirit Who lives within you, Whom you have received [as a Gift] from God? You are not your own,

1 Cor 6:20 You were bought with a price [purchased with a preciousness and paid for, made His own]. So then, honor God {and} bring glory to Him in your body.

Oftentimes, the people of God tend to place "weight" on homosexual sin, because such sins are against God and the physical body, which should be reserved as the temple of the Holy Spirit. Yet, we fail to realize that one who does not become a living sacrifice according to Romans 12:1-2 is still defiling the same temple, though perhaps not in such an obvious manner.

We also fail to acknowledge, as is clear in the Amplified version, that such immorality stems not only from action, but also from thought and deed. How important is God's investment in you? As a saint of God, are you willing to flee all APPEARANCE of evil in order to resist temptation? As a prophet, I must warn the people of God that many of us have gotten too complacent - too high, mighty and dependent upon our own sense of security and holiness. Who are we to risk the investments God has placed in us? What valid reason do we have to fill our minds with lewd thoughts? Yes, we do it - movies, music, vile conversations, dirty jokes, worldly love novels, and the list goes on. Many would say we are to have fun, and I agree, but at what expense? What are you willing to risk? Where do you draw the line? It's a scary thing to know that so many are willing to RISK holiness by enticing the mind on a day to day basis. Why? The thought leads to the sin and STILL perverts the temple. It's time to preach TRUE HOLINESS and sanctification, SEPARATION from the ways of the world and RESISTANCE to the flesh!

I thank God that early in my Christian walk, I was trained by truly HOLY and SEPARATE women of God. Their thoughts and even their ambitions in the world were not equal to those OF the world. They were willing to SACRIFICE in order to please God. As my "Mama Shirley" used to tell me, "I'd rather get to heaven and find out I didn't have to do than get there and I find out I should have, but didn't." Were these women a little too extreme? Perhaps. Yet, I must say I'd rather be extreme in holiness than too loose. How important is pleasing God to you? Where is your line of conviction? Do you have an appearance of godliness while denying the power thereof? Do you look holy while on the same path as those in the very sin of homosexuality or any other abominations?

Saints of God, we must remember, WE ARE CALLED TO A HIGHER STANDARD. The world will be judged for the sin according to the law. For you, whenever you know what is right, but refuse to do it, to YOU, that is sin (James 4:17; Proverbs 16:25)! It's time for us to truly look different from the world. Why should they believe the word we preach if there is no difference?

There is some residue of sin that's still on many of us, and it is hindering ministry. I'm talking about sin that is apparent to the world, not the "deep" stuff we work on amongst the saints. They see it at our jobs, in our families, on the weekends at the grocery store, yet the church looks over it. It is stench in the nostrils of our Father. Some of us need to be DELIVERED and truly set free - we don't need the yoke to be loosed, but BROKEN and DESTROYED.

We talk about holiness, but when the rubber hits the road, WHERE IS IT? As soon as opposition comes, we want to change the Gospel and blame it on a prophetic revelation from God. NO! The Scriptures are true! The Father gives revelation into His Word, but He doesn't make a habit of giving free passes. You're just not that special!

Instead of trying to conjure up a "new" word in all of your holiness, be holy enough to deny your flesh and be a doer of His word, rather than a hearer only.

1 Cor 4:20 For the kingdom of God consists of {and} is based on not talk but power (moral power and excellence of soul).

Gal 5:19 Now the doings (practices) of the flesh are clear (obvious): they are immorality, impurity, indecency,

Gal 5:20 Idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, anger (ill temper), selfishness, divisions (dissensions), party spirit (factions, sects with peculiar opinions, heresies),

Gal 5:21 Envy, drunkenness, carousing, and the like. I warn you beforehand, just as I did previously, that those who do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

The prophetic word for this season is to stop discrediting the Word of God! Oftentimes, God's people are searching for single Scriptures to make a point - not for God, but for one more tally on a scoreboard - one more chance to be right. The same word we use to rebuke sexual spirits (and rightfully so) is also a word that rebukes many in the church, even many in the pulpit.

The SAME scripture reminds us that other works of the flesh include idolatry - your house, your car, your overwhelming desire for Louis Vuitton and Coach when your bills are not paid. Do we not think God will judge us when we get the hair and nails done every week, buy a new suit every Saturday, yet neglect the basic needs of our own children. How dare the "saints of God" walk as "divas" when their own children look ragged and neglected! Can I be real? Where are our priorities? Sorcery - your controlling spirits and the lack of submission you have to leadership in the church AND in the home. We often preach that even when leadership is in error, submission is required, yet we fail to uphold this same standard in marriage or with our parents. Why the contradiction? Why the hypocricy?

Enmity, strife and jealousy - the people of God still can't rejoice with one another. We don't mourn when another mourns, but we'd rather beat them while they're down. Why? We're not in it for God's glory when we rejoice at the fall of another. How does that bring glory to our Father? How does that make YOU look as one called to ministry? Selfishness and divisions are rampant. We can't get to a point of knowing another by the spirit, because we allow the flesh to turn us away first. We are so easily offended that we don't allow the spirit to make a judgment. You're not always that discerning - sometimes you're just a hater!

Party spirits - How many more times will I hear it? "I didn't stop dancing, I just changed partners?" Perhaps that's the problem. We never stopped dancing long enough to get on our faces in worship. We haven't shut up the noise long enough to get a word from God? We want to bring the world into the house of God and stamp it as holy. There is no transformation. There is no sacrifice. Church is not meant for entertainment, though it has become a rather large source for just that. Entertainment is for the flesh. Who is willing to die that God will be pleased in worship? Where are the travailing saints, those carrying the labor pains and birthing the heart of God in this earth? When was the last time someone FEARED going into the house of God? I remember what it was like to dread going to church, knowing that the saints could smell the sin in my life. What happened? Where is the reverent fear of God AND HIS PEOPLE? Fear comes with respect. Respect comes with integrity, and integrity is sealed with reputation... Ahhhh....

None of these offences shall inherit the Kingdom of God. How can we be complacent in shunning homosexuality when we allow all the rest? The end thereof, regardless of the path taken, is still death!

Rom 13:11 Besides this you know what [a critical] hour this is, how it is high time now for you to wake up out of your sleep (rouse to reality). For salvation (final deliverance) is nearer to us now than when we first believed (adhered to, trusted in, and relied on Christ, the Messiah).

Rom 13:12 The night is far gone and the day is almost here. Let us then drop (fling away) the works {and} deeds of darkness and put on the [full] armor of light.

Rom 13:13 Let us live {and} conduct ourselves honorably {and} becomingly as in the [open light of] day, not in reveling (carousing) and drunkenness, not in immorality and debauchery (sensuality and licentiousness), not in quarreling and jealousy.

Rom 13:14 But clothe yourself with the Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah), and make no provision for [indulging] the flesh [put a stop to thinking about the evil cravings of your physical nature] to [gratify its] desires (lusts).

I love Paul's message - WAKE UP! The saints need to sober up and understand that nothing is so DEEP that it causes you to surpass the call to holiness. How many of us are trying to walk in the light, but still partake in "deeds of darkness?" Lying to the bill collector - telling your children to announce you're not home... Buying a dress to wear to the conference, then taking it back to the store claiming it was the "wrong size"... Floating checks we know won't clear... Buying and selling boot leg videos and CD's... Yes, I'm guilty too, and IT MUST CEASE. Of course, we have our reasons, but it's still deceit. It's still lying. It's still sin. What is your level of ambition in God? How close to perfect do you really want to be? It's not worth missing God.

We are commanded to live honorably "as in the day." In other words, there should be nothing hidden. We should be transparent to the world. WE MUST OBEY THE LAWS OF THIS LAND, so long as they don't go against the Word of God. We often quote that no weapon formed against us shall prosper...that every tongue that rises against us in judgment shall fall. This, according to the REST of the Scriptures, is the inheritance only of those that belong to the Father. Holy living will cause this to be true. However, THIS DOES NOT APPLY TO THOSE WHO DON'T LIVE HOLY LIVES. Stop lying to yourself and others. Don't give false comfort. Lusts for the things of this world have opened a major door for subtle sins that still lead to the same BIG hell! We cannot ignore it any longer. Be holy as God is holy!

1 Cor 6:10 Nor cheats (swindlers and thieves), nor greedy graspers, nor drunkards, nor foulmouthed revilers {and} slanderers, nor extortioners {and} robbers will inherit {or} have any share in the kingdom of God. (KJV Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.)

1 Cor 6:11 And such some of you were [once]. But you were washed clean (purified by a complete atonement for sin and made free from the guilt of sin), and you were consecrated (set apart, hallowed), and you were justified [pronounced righteous, by trusting] in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the [Holy] Spirit of our God.

Have we really been washed CLEAN, or were we just rubbed over? Are there still spots evident in our day to day lives? Are we still stealing from our jobs (ink pens and paper are included), our churches and even God? Are we still causing riots and upsets in public, making unnecessary scenes and being disrespectful because we think we have a "right" as Christians? Men, are you still twitching and flipping your wrist, though you've walked away from the ACT of homosexuality (this is what effiminate means - look it up!). Women, do you still insist on looking like a thug, claiming it's necessary to reach the young men in the church? Are you still proclaiming that you can do everything a man can do? No wonder there is an identity crisis in the spirit realm - there is still an identity crisis in the natural!

Have we really been made COMPLETELY FREE? I've heard so many preach of power struggles. Power struggles come when people don't know their place and/or identity. Men and women were made differently, and God did it for a purpose. There are many who have not indulged in acts of homosexuality, but still act against the nature of what God called them to be. There are still men who refuse to stand up and take care of their families. The Bible (not Joy) said you are worse than an infidel and should not eat. There are women who still bring their husbands shame. The Bible (not Joy), said that a virtuous woman is a crown to her husband and that her children will call her blessed. What do your husband and children say about you when you're not around? Yes, it does matter. Your ministry is first to your home. Uh oh! God first, then your own household. God, help us! We've got this thing twisted!

1 Cor 5:9 I wrote you in my [previous] letter not to associate [closely and habitually] with unchaste (impure) people--

1 Cor 5:10 Not [meaning of course that you must] altogether shun the immoral people of this world, or the greedy graspers and cheats {and} thieves or idolaters, since otherwise you would need to get out of the world {and} human society altogether!

1 Cor 5:11 But now I write to you not to associate with anyone who bears the name of [Christian] brother if he is known to be guilty of immorality or greed, or is an idolater [whose soul is devoted to any object that usurps the place of God], or is a person with a foul tongue [railing, abusing, reviling, slandering], or is a drunkard or a swindler {or} a robber. [No] you must not so much as eat with such a person.

1 Cor 5:12 What [business] of mine is it {and} what right have I to judge outsiders? Is it not those inside [the church] upon whom you are to pass disciplinary judgment [passing censuring sentence on them as the facts require]?

1 Cor 5:13 God alone sits in judgment on those who are outside. Drive out that wicked one from among you [expel him from your church].

I must say this carefully, but it must be pronounced. The church was established with a protocol for excommunication. Yes, it is God's will that some people be PUT OUT and CUT OFF. Because we haven't been completely obedient to the Word, those who should have been dismissed have caused havock in the Body. The leaven has spoiled the whole lump!

As Paul said, it is our DUTY to judge within the church (v.12). We are not even driving the wicked out of our own individual lives. God has been speaking to me for years about being guilty by association. Hear the word of the Lord - CUT THEM OFF! There are some who should not have access to you if you are called of God for His work. Leaders, you are allowing wolves access to the sheep you are leading. There are sheep being rebuked when they run, while the wolves are allowed to stay! Cancerous "decoys" calling themselves saints are making waves in the Body of Christ.

Eph 5:3 But immorality (sexual vice) and all impurity [of lustful, rich, wasteful living] or greediness must not even be named among you, as is fitting {and} proper among saints (God's consecrated people).

Eph 5:4 Let there be no filthiness (obscenity, indecency) nor foolish {and} sinful (silly and corrupt) talk, nor coarse jesting, which are not fitting {or} becoming; but instead voice your thankfulness [to God].

Eph 5:5 For be sure of this: that no person practicing sexual vice or impurity in thought or in life, or one who is covetous [who has lustful desire for the property of others and is greedy for gain]--for he [in effect] is an idolater--has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.

Eph 5:6 Let no one delude {and} deceive you with empty excuses {and} groundless arguments [for these sins], for through these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of rebellion {and} disobedience.

Eph 5:7 So do not associate {or} be sharers with them.

Saints of God, we tend to get offended when we are told things we do are not "fitting" or "becoming". Yet, we must realize this walk is not about us. There are people watching. Our LIVES must be a sacrifice. We must LOOK LIKE JESUS. That means IT SHOULD BE HARD. No one is able to walk in holiness without the Holy Spirit. There is a REASON. It is difficult, but that's no excuse. It's a reasonable price - a reasonable sacrifice. If we continue to practice and associate with so much "hidden" sin, why not be homosexuals?

Encourage YOURSELF in the Lord

I had lots of questions for God today, and this is one of the Scriptures that encouraged me. Even in the midst of hell on earth, God always reserves a remnant. Though small, there is still a number who have not bowed to Baal. I know there are some who are operating as God has instructed you to do. There are some who are living holy and doing all they can to walk in obedience and meekness. Yet, the walls seem to be falling down around you. People mistake or even doubt your motives, your gift and your calling. Still, you must SEEK GOD and press toward the mark. Position yourself to hear God's voice and ENCOURAGE YOURSELF IN HIM!

For those of you who fit this description, BE ENCOURAGED!


1Sa 30:1 And it came to pass, when David and his men were come to Ziklag on the third day, that the Amalekites had invaded the south, and Ziklag, and smitten Ziklag, and burned it with fire;
1Sa 30:2 And had taken the women captives, that were therein: they slew not any, either great or small, but carried them away, and went on their way.

Lessons from a Cemetery

God graced me with another opportunity to visit our nation's capital city this past weekend. While I was there for my employer, I had some time to visit historical sites and definitely had plenty of time to pray and hear God in my hotel room.

One of the most overwhelming things I saw was the Arlington National Cemetery. A small group of us went to see the cemetery by moonlight, and while it was somewhat of a tearjerker, God really spoke to me about the principal behind this massive and prestigious monument.

He asked me a number of questions and drew my attention to a variety of details as I observed the cemetery. Right away, I noticed that all the tombstones were the same color, same size and same shape. They were all very simple and faced the same direction. They were laid out in perfect rows. These were the tombstones of men and women who have died for our country. These were the grave sites of those who have served in high positions of influence. I was amazed at the large number of stones as I heard the tour guide announce how they were designed and laid out to look like soldiers at attention.

God began to ask me, what if such a monument existed for martyrs - those who gave their lives for the Gospel? Would it be so massive? Would my people visit with the same respect, honor and dignity?

Immediately, I began to have a conversation with the Father and thoughts began to swarm my head. How many of us will truly honor God in our deaths? What would we really be remembered for?

I even began to think of the sacrifices the families make in order to commit the bodies of their loved ones to Arlington. They fly them in, ship them overseas - whatever it takes for them to have an honorary burial. Most of them won't be able to visit the grave sites often, and may not even be able to invite the entire family for the ceremony. Despite their life's accomplishments, these people are remembered for what they did for their country. They may have been great doctors and lawyers, awesome parents or successful entrepreneurs. Yet, they are buried there for one reason - to be honored and remembered for their services toward and on behalf of the USA. In the end, above all else, how many of us will be remembered and honored for what we've done for Christ?

Then, I thought again about the stones. God reminded me how many of the men were soldiers, yet some of them had more rank than others. Some were presidents. Some were corporals, while others were lieutenants. Yet, all the stones were alike. There was rank, but the cemetery does not stress that. In other words, rank allowed them to live and work as one body, but it was not allowed to thwart the vision or show separation from the cause at hand. In the end, the only thing that matters is their unity toward a cause - the freedom and protection of this country. How many of us can get past our rank long enough to just look like Christ? Can we get over ourselves and stop trying to force everyone to recognize our gifts and titles? Can we just work together, honoring the rank, but more importantly, working toward the building of the Kingdom of God?

If Christians had an "Arlington", how many of us would fuss making our own burial arrangements? "I'm a prophet, so my tombstone should be larger. Well, I'm a pastor, so I want an angel to sit on my stone. I'm an evangelist, so I'd like to have a Bible engraved in gold." How many of us could actually be content just looking like a unit? Would our families fight to make our grave sites "special" or would they understand our desire was simply to be known as a soldier for Christ? Even in life, when will we be willing to "blend in" as long as Christ gets the honor and the Father gets the glory? Can we survive without getting special recognition as long as unity is obtained and our goal is accomplished?

As I listened to God and pondered about this beautiful site, I was perturbed. Those in the world know how to unite for a cause, but the Body of Christ struggles as everyone wants to be an individual. Oh, God dealt with ME about so much that I do to seize an individual victory and accomplishment. Though we are known by our own names and our own "ranks" in the spirit, we should all look alike in the end. At the day of judgment, we will be honored based on our individual call to duty, and our ability to stand as a team. We may have individual assignments, but we should all talk and walk alike - in unison just like an army - just like those who have died for this country we are so blessed to live in.

You Say You Know God's Voice, but Does He Know Yours?

My husband asked me a question last week, and God has dealt with me about this very thing ever since. It's the concept of having a prayer life - time set aside to commune with and worship the Father.

Especially in the realm of the prophetic, intimate time with God is still discussed more than it is practiced. I even told my Pastor one day about how it confused me to see pastors online when I get to work in the morning, still online when I come home, and yet still online when I go to bed, without ever taking a break. So many say they talk to God throughout the day, and that's fine, but where is the invested time for intimacy?

The question my husband posed was this: Jesus was a teacher and a prophet. He had a constant and consistent relationship with the Father, yet He still took PRIVATE, PROLONGED time to pray. For all intents and purposes, He had a prayer closet and did not live and/or minister based only on revelation from dreams and visions. Hmmmm... He was not so "supernatural" that He didn't have to spend time in God's presence, alone and without the company of others.

I immediately thought of marriages. We've seen many couples married for years, yet they divorce because there is no intimacy. They live together every day. They talk every day. Yet, their intimate time together does not exist. They don't DATE anymore. Has the church gotten so high-minded and sadity that we don't recognize our need to steal away and spend time with God?

I told my pastor last week that I truly miss some of the old mothers in the church that trained me. They taught me how to get on my face, shut the door and turn down my plate until I heard God's voice. They taught me how, like Jacob, we sometimes have to press in and literally wrestle until God answers. I learned that when you really want intimacy with the Father, just like in a natural relationship, intimate time is required. It's scary to see so many ministers, pastors and teachers who don't even have the discipline or DESIRE to spend an hour alone with God each day.

Yes, Jesus did talk to the Father on an ongoing basis, throughout the day, but He also took time out to spend in prayer, alone and in private. He humbled Himself to realize that He had to SEEK God. As the Body of Christ, we must not neglect what Christ taught and DID.

When was the last time someone called your house, and you refused to answer the phone because you were in prayer? When was the last time you turned down attendance to a family cookout because you had a date of worship with the Father? Everything is on our calendars except HIM. Where is the PREPARATION for ministry? RELATIONSHIP can not be fully developed without INTENTIONAL time and an INVESTMENT of energy! We must remember that revelation is a gift; prophecy is a gift; dreams are a gift - NOT prayer and often take little efforts on our part. When are we going to wrestle as Jacob did for relationship with God? When is your next date with Him? Have you committed a time to meet Him today, tomorrow...?

Matt 26:36 Then Jesus went with them to a place called Gethsemane, and He told His disciples, Sit down here while I go over yonder and pray.
Matt 26:37 And taking with Him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, He began to show grief {and} distress of mind and was deeply depressed.
Matt 26:38 Then He said to them, My soul is very sad {and} deeply grieved, so that I am almost dying of sorrow. Stay here and keep awake {and} keep watch with Me.
Matt 26:39 And going a little farther, He threw Himself upon the ground on His face and prayed saying, My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will [not what I desire], but as You will {and} desire.
Matt 26:40 And He came to the disciples and found them sleeping, and He said to Peter, What! Are you so utterly unable to stay awake {and} keep watch with Me for one hour?

Luke 3:21 Now when all the people were baptized, and when Jesus also had been baptized, and [while He was still] praying, the [visible] heaven was opened
Luke 3:22 And the Holy Spirit descended upon Him in bodily form like a dove, and a voice came from heaven, {saying,} You are My Son, My Beloved! In You I am well pleased {and} find delight!

Luke 9:18 Now it occurred that as Jesus was praying privately, the disciples were with Him, and He asked them, Who do men say that I am?

Luke 9:28 Now about eight days after these teachings, Jesus took with Him Peter and John and James and went up on the mountain to pray.

He Will Finish What He Started

There is a need to encourage the people of God today. So much sin is rampant in the Body of Christ an in the house of God, yet there is always a remnant - a people who live holy and upright before the Father.

Rom 11:5 So too at the present time there is a remnant (a small believing minority), selected (chosen) by grace (by God's unmerited favor and graciousness).

That remnant must be encouraged today. Those who do have relationship with the Father still have an active covenant with Him. That covenant benefits those who are doing the work of the Father.

Saints of God, we must not lose hope, even when disarray occurs all around us. God will complete what He started in YOU. Continue to bow to His will. Continue living as a sacrifice before Him.

Some of you feel as if God is always chastising you. You feel unappreciated. It seems as if you are always giving and never receiving. You feel as if no one understands the gifts and calling upon your life. WELCOME TO A HIGHER STANDARD! To whom much is given, much is required! Rejoice and know that God has a greater purpose for your life.

BE ENCOURAGED! Walk in the strength of God (1 Cor 10:13), and allow Him to complete the work in YOU.

Is 55:11 So shall My word be that goes forth out of My mouth: it shall not return to Me void [without producing any effect, useless], but it shall accomplish that which I please {and} purpose, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

Phil 1:6 And I am convinced {and} sure of this very thing, that He Who began a good work in you will continue until the day of Jesus Christ [right up to the time of His return], developing [that good work] {and} perfecting {and} bringing it to full completion in you.

Protect Your Mind

I hear God saying, PROTECT YOUR MIND. My Father reminded me today that HE DOES CARE about my peace, my mind, my sanity...

The enemy often uses us to confuse and suppress ourselves. Many times we see, feel and hear things that are not really true. We allow ourselves to ponder over negative thoughts, and we then become discouraged, intimidated, frustrated and weary. One sign of maturity in the things of God is to be FULLY PERSUADED with a SOUND MIND toward the Father. God is tired of His people losing their minds, going crazy, being drowned in fear. Where is the persuasion? Why all the confusion WITHIN OURSELVES?

Maybe God called me, maybe He didn't... Maybe He sent me, perhaps He didn't... I think He spoke that word, but now that I hear something different...

We must make our salvation SURE, without wavering. God showed me that even when it comes to rebuke, many reject it because they are not mature and SURE of their position in God. Maturity in God = SOBRIETY (Romans 12:3). Yes, when we are mature, we know our position in God, including those things that need to be sharpened and corrected. We are also able to stand firm on that which we know God has spoken.

No matter what anybody says, there are some things we should be SURE of. In some things, we should be 100% convinced. Where is the conviction in the people of God? Is there a calling on your life that you know, without a doubt - an assignment or revelation of which you are so sure that NOBODY can convince you otherwise?

2Pe 1:10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:

Heb 10:23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

The Father is concerned with our spirits, but He is also concerned with our MINDS (the gateway to the soul, being thoughts, emotions, knowledge and intellect). Many in ministry have forgotten this. They have not been good stewards over their thoughts, and therefore have lost focus and literally driven themselves crazy. A practical and simple word for the people of God today - don't let everything and everybody get in your head.

God wants us to be good stewards over our thoughts and our minds, so much so that He will allow our own minds to destroy us if we fail to protect them.

Rom 1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

Remember, you MUST HAVE PEACE to hear and obey the Father!

Isa 26:3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

Phi 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Phi 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

2Co 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

2Ti 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Have You Amazed the World Today?

I have been in LOTS of prayer and meditation, because I'm tired of fighting with "church folk." I'm tired of trying to prove myself in God, or as my Pastor says, vindicate my anointing. Everything done for the Kingdom seems to be questioned. So many in the Body have lost the focus of ministry to the point they believe ridicule and discouragement is actually of God. We have come to a point where those trying to live for God are constantly attacked while sin continues to run rampant.

I need to encourage those who are under attack by the very ones they walk with. God is calling us to remember THE CALL and the PURPOSE for your life and ministry. We are called, first, to worship the Father - to walk in obedience to Him and follow ALL His commandments. As a Body, we are assigned to sharpen and edify one another. We are called to correct in love and strengthen one another. We are to encourage one another in unity and GET A WORK DONE. Many have forgotten the BIG PICTURE, the greater work and the GREAT COMMISSION.

Yes, we all have a specific call, but God wants to remind us of the unified call on all His people - the ministry of reconciliation. We are all summoned to follow that which Jesus taught.

The truth of the matter is this - signs and wonders have ceased, because we are too busy trying to impress one another and trying to prove ourselves in the Church. The greater challenge and the greater work has been abandoned, because the people of God do not walk in unity and power. We as Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers are called to edify the Body of Christ and bring us into the unity of the knowledge of Christ. Why? - So that others will be drawn and also taught. When the church operates as it should, souls are added (Acts 2, 11) with TRUE repentace. The world is drawn AND CHANGED.

Matt 5:14 You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.
Matt 5:15 Nor do men light a lamp and put it under a peck measure, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all in the house.
Matt 5:16 Let your light so shine before men that they may see your moral excellence {and} your praiseworthy, noble, {and} good deeds and recognize {and} honor {and} praise {and} glorify your Father Who is in heaven.

The church is a place of worship and training. Many who operate in ministry are called to the Body of Christ, but we are ALL called to be the light of the WORLD, not just our own churches or spheres of influence. Have we forgotten that this is how souls are drawn into the Kingdom? The Word tells us the men will glorify the Father when they see Him working in us through our "good works." The signs and wonders, the godly love, the longsuffering and character is needed to draw men into the Kingdom. We don't need the gimics and the compromise with the world - we need to demonstrate the fruit of the Spirit. We need to stand out in the world.

How many of us preach in service, but pick fights at the grocery store? How many shout during worship service, but curse out the person who parks in our spot at Wal-Mart? In worship, in the presence of God - this is the time to be naked and to deal with YOU. In the world, you are to be sent as an ambassador. In the world, the gifts of the Spirit should rise the more. Where is the patience? Where is the kindness and meekness? Where is the longsuffering? You're faithful to choir rehearsal, but what about the job? You give money to help pay the building fund, but refuse to pay the debt YOU OWE on the credit cards. Where is the integrity?

Just a nugget - God told me that bad credit indicates nothing more than robbery. OUCH! So often, we in the church fool ourselves into thinking that we can run up debt and not pay it because we are children of God. Not so. The God I serve is big enough to release me from debt WITHOUT ROBBING FROM SOMEONE ELSE. Can we just get real and get delivered???!!! Hmmm...

After we've argued in church... after we've fought our husbands and wives... after we've searched the Scriptures and given great dissertations... after we've convinced everyone in the church that we are right, who in the world has been astonished? Who in the world has been drawn?

Acts 8:9 But there was a man named Simon, who had formerly practiced magic arts in the city to the utter amazement of the Samaritan nation, claiming that he himself was an extraordinary {and} distinguished person.
Acts 8:10 They all paid earnest attention to him, from the least to the greatest, saying, This man is that exhibition of the power of God which is called great (intense).
Acts 8:11 And they were attentive {and} made much of him, because for a long time he had amazed {and} bewildered {and} dazzled them with his skill in magic arts.
Acts 8:12 But when they believed the good news (the Gospel) about the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ (the Messiah) as Philip preached it, they were baptized, both men and women.
Acts 8:13 Even Simon himself believed [he adhered to, trusted in, and relied on the teaching of Philip], and after being baptized, devoted himself constantly to him. And seeing signs {and} miracles of great power which were being performed, he was utterly amazed.

The world needs to see the signs and wonders of God's people. However, they will never come until we focus on the Father. The Father reminded me of something that happened to me two years ago. I was on a job and had to have a meeting with a psychic. When I met the woman, she recognized that I was a prophet, and was fearful. She began to confess her sins and admitted that she could "feel" God in me. Though she was not living a holy life, she paid respect to God's presence within me, and had godly fear. I remember leaving her home that day asking God how she could recognize something that many "saints" didn't see? How could her discernment be greater than that of others in ministry?

As I was reminded of that, I have been encouraged. Just as Simon did, the world (even when operating in power) should have a fear and reverence for the presence of God within us. WE SHOULD BE DIFFERENT. We should walk in enough power to draw the world's wonders to repentance. We should be able to stand beside a magician and do greater wonders. We should be able to heal more effectively than the witch doctors. Many are turning to New Age beliefs, occults and the occult because we, the Church, have not been salt of the earth. We have become the salt of our own churches, our own families and our own neighborhoods only. Why? Selfishness. We enjoy the pats on the back. We appreciate the accolades. It's so easy to please those in the church and argue with them, but it's a difficult thing to completely rely on God to show up. Faith in the midst of the enemy requires a greater faith than what's required in the midst of friends. Was this not the very point Satan tried to prove to God during his testing of Job?

Acts 8:18 However, when Simon saw that the [Holy] Spirit was imparted through the laying on of the apostles' hands, he brought money {and} offered it to them,
Acts 8:19 Saying, Grant me also this power {and} authority, in order that anyone on whom I place my hands may receive the Holy Spirit.
Acts 8:20 But Peter said to him, Destruction overtake your money and you, because you imagined you could obtain the [free] gift of God with money!
Acts 8:21 You have neither part nor lot in this matter, for your heart is all wrong in God's sight [it is not straightforward or right or true before God].
Acts 8:22 So repent of this depravity {and} wickedness of yours and pray to the Lord that, if possible, this contriving thought {and} purpose of your heart may be removed {and} disregarded {and} forgiven you.
Acts 8:23 For I see that you are in the gall of bitterness and in a bond forged by iniquity [to fetter souls].
Acts 8:24 And Simon answered, Pray for me [beseech the Lord, both of you], that nothing of what you have said may befall me!

Are we ready to get past preaching to the same people over and over again, and seeing false deliverance after false deliverance? I believe there are some still causing the world to say, "What must I do to be saved?" There should be some seeking to offer whatever it takes to have relationship with the God we serve. People should be seeking us for refuge. The Word of God is true, so if the world is not being drawn to the Father, we are not operating as the light of the world.

Perhaps too many of us look like the world to draw them... Perhaps we have abandoned the works God called us to do, so the world feels as comfortable in the church as they do outside... Where is the distinction? Where is the power?

Matt 10:6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
Matt 10:7 And as you go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand!
Matt 10:8 Cure the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, drive out demons. Freely (without pay) you have received, freely (without charge) give.

Even in ministering to the lost INSIDE GOD's HOUSE (lost sheep of Israel), signs and wonders are essential and COMMANDED of those in ministry.

So much word is going forth, but God's people are not being sharpened and edified. The growth is not coming forth. We must take inventory. Why are we not operating in authority and power? Why is "church service" not producing the fruit that it should? Why has the world lost reverence for people of God? Where has our power gone?

Have you shocked the world today? How many of us can think of a psychic that speaks more life than the prophets we know? How many of us can think of a tarot card reader that predicts with better accuracy? How many of us know soothsayers and witch doctors that have raised people from the dead, but don't know of a saint with the faith and power to do the same? How many of us know sinners that are more kind and benevolent than the church members? How many of us know people in the world who are more humble and willing to help someone in need?

Luke 4:33 Now in the synagogue there was a man who was possessed by the foul spirit of a demon; and he cried out with a loud (deep, terrible) cry,
Luke 4:34 Ah, {let us alone!} What have You to do with us [What have we in common], Jesus of Nazareth? Have You come to destroy us? I know Who You are--the Holy One of God!

Does the enemy know your name? Does the world have reverent fear of you? It's a blessing when those who don't agree with you, those who don't like you and even those who don't live holy still reverance the God in you.

Matt 5:13 You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste (its strength, its quality), how can its saltness be restored? It is not good for anything any longer but to be thrown out and trodden underfoot by men.

Yes, the world will hate us, but we are still their salt and light, and we should NOT be hidden. Who have you amazed in the world today?

Beware of Nimrod - The Charasmatic Gift of Coercion

All week long, God has been speaking to me about Nimrod. Though the Bible does not say much about him specifically, we know from the Scriptures that he was the great-grandson of Noah, by way of Cush and Ham. The only detail the Bible stresses about this man is that he was a mighty hunter and established the kingdom of Babylon. He understood hard work and how to make his way prosperous in the earth (Genesis 10, 1 Chronicles 1). He also understood politics and how to persuade the crowd.

Again, Nimrod is credited as the founder of Babylon, also referred to as Babel.

Gen 11:1 And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech.
Gen 11:2 And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there.
Gen 11:3 And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them throughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter.
Gen 11:4 And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.
Gen 11:5 And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded.
Gen 11:6 And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.
Gen 11:7 Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech.
Gen 11:8 So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city.
Gen 11:9 Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.
This is a very common account in the Word of God, yet we often miss the point of what God is saying through the story. The Bible warns that in the last days, there will be a great falling away, such that even the elect of God will be deceived (Matthew 24:24). Many in the Body of Christ are deceived by the very thing we are trying to accomplish - UNITY.

Just like Nimrod, there are many in our time that have a gift of influence. Some have a gift to convince others of anything they desire. For this reason, it is so important that the Saints of God understand the Word for themselves. It is crucial that stay in right-standing with the Father on a personal level. Without discernment, deceit is inevitable.

Many historians give Nimrod credit for the establishment of of many fraternal organizations, such as the Masons. He had a gift for uniting people for purpose and power. In his gift to unite people, he became a founder of one of history's most sinful cities. Why? Because people have a tendency to believe that unity implies the will of God. We tend to feel and believe that all disagreement is sinful and rebellious. This is a huge misconception in the Body of Christ. Throughout the Gospel, we are taught that disagreements will come, and that there is a godly way to handle them. Not every disagreement must grow into an argument, and not every question is representative of disdain or disrespect. Again, discernment is so important.

Intimidation is simply a tool of control and a form of witchcraft. Do not be intimidated by the crowd. Many of us will have to stand alone at some point or another. Are we fully persuaded by God, or easily persuaded by others?

Beware of those with the charisma of Nimrod and resist the temptation to gain and/or use it as well. Saints of God, do not be swayed by the "crowd". On the other hand, do not be threatened by questions. Disrespect is one thing, but questions are NOT our enemy. In fact, we are instructed to be ready for them (1 Peter 3:15). Even when questions do come as an attack, be sure of the faith that lies within you. Again, discernment is key.

It's Time to Take Inventory

Have we forgotten REPENTANCE? The Father is grieved, because His gifts and callings are without repentance. For this reason, sin is exposed. The prophetic word is going forth. The apostolic correction is taking place, yet the fruit of repentance has rotted in the people of God.

Often, in the church, it is so easy to see the sins and shortcomings of everyone else, yet we fail to take the word and the revelation and compare OURSELVES to that which has been exposed. IT IS TIME TO TAKE INVENTORY.

Oftentimes, we feel that we are "safe" and holy because God allows us to see things in others. Not so. We must first be accountable for ourselves and remember that our operating in gifts and anointing is no complete indication of "safety" in the spirit realm. We are called to minister to others, yes, but we are responsible for our own souls as well.

Jam 1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

We must be so careful to carry out the prophetic word and adhere to it just as we do the written word of God. In so many arenas, it's easy to IGNORE what God speaks. We quickly say "Amen" and consider the matter to be closed. No - has the word been applied to your life? Saying AMEN does not fix the matter - only REPENTANCE does that. God often reminds me, if the word was sent to me, it should do something IN me. It's not sent my way just for me to agree, but to take an inventory. EVERY word must be weighed and judged (1 Cor 14:27-32).

One thing I love about David is that he understood repentance. Though he'd committed every sin under the law, he was still said to be a man after God's own heart. He understood Godly sorrow. He never looked upon the sins of others while allowing his own to go unchecked, but he was COMPLETELY HONEST AND NAKED BEFORE GOD. So should we be as the called of God.

Psa 51:2 Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.
Psa 51:3 For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.
Psa 51:4 Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.
Psa 51:5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.
Psa 51:6 Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.
Psa 51:7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
Psa 51:8 Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice.
Psa 51:9 Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.
Psa 51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
Psa 51:11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.
Psa 51:12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.
Psa 51:13 Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.
Psa 51:14 Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.
Psa 51:15 O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise.
Psa 51:16 For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering.
Psa 51:17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.

David allowed the judgment of God to bring correction. So often, we neglect to allow the word to CUT US, when it has the authority and power to do just that.

Heb 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

We live in a time when everyone has a word and everyone claims to have revelation. Yet, sin is still rampant. A broken and contrite spirit are hard to find. I am called to bring a word unto God's people, but I am FIRST CALLED to keep myself sharpened, corrected and in line with the Word of God.

Rom 14:12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.

You Can't Hear from God Without Knowing Who God Is!

God has been rebuking me very heavily about accepting prophecy, testimonies and instruction from those that lie by saying they know Him when they don’t. Of course, I am always reluctant to doubt a person knows God, but the Father rebuked me very heavily about even this.

“How can someone have a relationship with Me when they don’t even know who they’re speaking to?” Again, God took me back to the epidemic of worshipping an unknown God. He then reminded me that those who truly know Him also understand His nature, His personality and His plan.

In the natural, anyone who claims to have an intimate relationship with me would be expected to know basic things about me:

• Am I a man or a woman?
• What is my ethnicity?
• Am I married or single?
• What is my name?

People of God, the Father is tired of the lies, and this word must go forth. Please, look past your religion, your tradition and your flesh to hear the word of God! As a prophet, I am obligated to share the truth and speak what God is commanding me to speak. This is the hours and season to worship in spirit and in TRUTH. In order to get there, we must KNOW WHO WE ARE WORSHIPING!!! This is both a word of knowledge, based on the written Word of God and a word of prophecy, based on the very voice (spoken word) and revelation of the Father.

Too many are claiming to hear God and don’t even know His name. Too many are hearing from God and don’t even know His nature or His history. How many of us have been told that Jesus, the Father and the Holy Spirit are all one, literally? I’m not talking about one in unity, but one in existence. How many of have experienced prayers (or own or someone else’s) to Jesus and the Holy Spirit, while the Father was completely neglected? Do you really believe God is one in “three persons,” that Jesus, the Holy Spirit and the Father are all one in the same? How many of us have been taught and/or believe the Holy Spirit, the Son and the Father are all equal with the same purpose?

Not knowing and understanding each member of the Godhead is a crisis in the Body of Christ. Too many are professing to believe in the Trinity or Oneness or many other doctrines, none of which are described in the Word of God. Yet, who has had a true encounter? Who has searched the Scriptures? So many rely on what they’ve heard, been taught and acquired, but who has actually received revelation? Who did that revelation come from?

How dare we continue to prophecy, preach and teach when we don’t even know who God is!

There exists three separate and distinct persons in the Godhead, all divine, though separate. In addition to their being separate, they are unified, but have different purposes, different personalities and different levels of authority. All are to be reverenced, loved and adored, but worship is to done unto the Father.

God is the Father

The Father has ultimate authority, and is the only true GOD. Though powerful and divine, both Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit are lead, instructed and commanded by God.

Jesus Christ is the Son of God, our Lord and Redeemer, sent by the Father

• Jesus is “begotten” of the Father, and therefore both created and accountable to Him (John 3:16).
• Jesus is sent by the Father (1 John 4:10).
• Christ is sent to redeem (Galatians 3:13). His purpose is to reconcile mankind back to the Father (Ephesians 2:16-18).
• Jesus did not come to do His own will, but that of the Father (John 6:38).
• Jesus prayed to the Father and instructs us to do the same, as we are enabled THROUGH Christ (Matthew 6:9; 26:53; John 14:16; John 16:26).

The Holy Spirit is the Comforter, sent by Christ to the Church (Believers)

• The Holy Spirit is SENT by the Father and the Son (John 14:26).
• The Holy Spirit teaches, sanctifies and recalls that which Christ taught (John 6:38; John 14:26).
• The Holy Spirit intercedes on our behalf through prayer and gives gifts for the sake of the ministry. He is not to be prayed to, but is instrumental in our prayers to the Father (Romans 8:26; 1 Corinthians 12, 14).

To those who say that God’s nature is a mystery, please reconsider. We serve a God who wants us to know Him. We serve a Father who wants to be sought by His people. Why would a God who desires intimate relationship keep His very being a secret?

You cannot hear, recognize, obey and represent one whom you know not! Selah.
