Where is MY worship? Where is MY praise?

Where is My praise? Where is the worship and honor due to Me? My people have lost focus. Ministry has been abandoned for vain glory and personal exaltation. How dare My people esteem themselves to be equal with the Lord, Your God!

Lam 2:6 And He has violently broken down His temple like a booth {or} hedge of a garden; He has destroyed the place of His appointed assembly. The Lord has caused the solemn appointed feasts and Sabbaths to be forgotten in Zion and has spurned {and} rejected in the indignation of His anger the king and the priest.

Lam 2:7 The Lord has scorned, rejected, {and} cast off His altar; He has abhorred {and} disowned His sanctuary. He has given into the hand of the enemy the walls of her palaces [and high buildings]; they have raised a clamor in the house of the Lord as on a day of a solemn appointed feast.

This morning, the Lord spoke to me so strongly that I was literally frightened. God said He is rejected the activity of His house – the things we call church and congregation. The Father said that He is a jealous God. He is asking, “Where is my worship? Where is my praise?” The Father is rejecting our concept of ministry.

The church has too many distractions that we are attempting to define as the will of God. Yes, correction is of the Father, but too many have a ministry of correction without genuine worship. Yes, preaching the Word is in the Father’s plan. However, too many spend hours traveling and preaching, but don’t sacrifice to lay out before God. Attending church and assembling with the saints is ordained and commanded in the Scriptures, yet too many are spending hours in services, but no quiet time in God’s presence.

The Lord gave me a word about two weeks ago, and I will repost it in obedience. MINISTRY CANNOT BE DONE IN OUR OWN STRENGTH. So many of us think we know how to operate in ministry, but we know only in part. We know how to facilitate a service, and we understand how to pat others on the back and make them feel better. Yet, not many understand how to usher in the presence of God. When was the last time you loved on God without interruption? So many believe they are seeking Him, yet there is no change. We must remember, IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO DWELL IN GOD’S PRESENCE AND COME OUT WITHOUT A CHANGE! Where are the miracles? Why aren’t the blind seeing? Why haven’t the dead been raised? God says we lack power, because we lack HIS faith. These things come only by fasting and prayer.

God is going to change the MOTIVES in many of His people. Those who refuse to change will be rejected. God is rejecting our offerings. Ministry and worship must go hand in hand. The flesh must be crucified and our motives purified. The Father is calling for intimacy with Him. Ministry can no longer be done in the flesh. The Spirit of God will move and instruct every command. In this season, we must seek God. Move only when He says to move. Speak only when He says to speak.

“Obedience”, says the Lord, “is required for pure worship.”
