Luke 6:27-28 "And after these things he went forth, and saw a publican, named Levi, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he said unto him, Follow me. And he left all, rose up, and followed him."
So many of us turn to God because of what we can get. Yet, being a true disciple of Christ requires sacrifice. There is a cost.
Are you willing to forsake ALL to follow Him? Money. Job. Friends. Family. "Your" Ministry. Feelings. Emotions.
It's time to get our priorities in order. We have already been given the ultimate gift in Christ Jesus. Our Father is looking for those who are willing to give something back. He wants it all... the ultimate sacrifice. He wants our will. He wants our lives. There are benefits, indeed, but the price cannot be ignored.
When it comes to ministry, feelings will be hurt. Money may be lost. People will be forsaken. God may require the very thing you love the most. Yet, it's worth it! Those who truly love God don't have time to complain. They have learned, in whatever state they may be, therein to be content!
ORDER IN THE CHURCH!
Welcome to SOUNDING THE ALARM! This blog is purposed to ignite discernment and righteous indignation that will draw God's people to biblical and prophetic insight. My hope is that these writings will spark a desire for prayer, worship and meditation on the Scriptures - that trailblazers for truth and revival will be ignited, strengthened and fortified to cry aloud and spare not the word of the Lord. Leaders Don't See and Know Everything
"And the LORD spake unto Gad, David's seer, saying,..." 1 Chronicles 21:9
LEADERS, let's remember that leaders don't always see everything. The Body of Christ is designed and equipped such that every joint supplies... every part matters. Every gift must be in operation if the Body is going to run smoothly and be fruitful.
Many leaders fall and fail their assignments, because they feel they know everything. They count is robbery to need other saints, including their own disciples. Not so! God's true, apostolic leaders understand how to lead and learn. They understand how to recognize, trust and nurture the callings, gifts and anointings of their disciples and others.
We know in part... we prophesy in part. A good teacher is first a student. A good leader knows how to follow the voice of God... no matter who He's speaking through. ORDER IN THE CHURCH!
