Honoring Marriage

As a believer, I absolutely believe in the sanctity of marriage.  Perhaps I'm "old skool", but I believe marriage was created by God and is organically defined as the union between one man and one woman.

With that being said, I have a serious question to pose to my fellow believers who stand in agreement.

We spend so much time and effort fighting for the "definition" of marriage in the church (with which I do agree), but neglect the sanctity of marriage in so many ways.  Why?

In the church, it's common to see fornication and adultery.  Yet, there are very few who cry out against it.  There are MANY preachers, leaders and pastors who divorce on Friday and show up on Sunday like nothing ever happened.  How can that be?

God HATES divorce.  That's what the word of God says.  When we truly believe in the sanctity and holiness of marriage, why don't we preach it all?  We need to take it or leave it.  Any sin is just that... a sin.  We can put weight on one over the other.

I believe God is opening our eyes.  It's very hypocritical to judge one aspect while winking at others.  At the core, everyone deserves to be loved, despite their decisions.  We've ALL made bad ones.  That still doesn't give us the right to choose which portions of God's commands we'll follow and which we'll casually dismiss.

So, today I cry aloud and spare not!  Protect godly marriage!  Stop allowing fornication and adultery in the churches.  Stop supporting those in the pulpit who wreck homes.  Stop listening to pastors and leaders who put away their spouses and take no time for repentance and restoration.  Worrying about how those outside the church define marriage is of minor concern compared to what we allow of those inside the church who are equally, if not more disrespectful of this sacred covenant.

After all, the divorce rate in the church is now greater than that outside.  If we, in the body of Christ, can't keep marriage holy, maybe we should stop getting angry at the world.  Obviously, the example has failed.  Selah.

Don't Talk... Just Listen!

Bless those who persecute you. Don’t curse them; pray that God will bless them. Be happy with those who are happy, and weep with those who weep. Live in harmony with each other. Don’t be too proud to enjoy the company of ordinary people. And don’t think you know it all!

Romans 12:14-16 (NLT)

Why is it that we as Christians and church leaders feel the need to provide the answer for every issue?  We often view those who are hurting, discouraged, weak or sick as lesser in the things of God.  Oh, how we err!

The Bible assures us that to everything there is a season.  This includes a season to mourn, or cry.  People of God, it's okay to have emotions.  It's okay to get angry or sad from time to time, as long as it doesn't fester and result in sin.

As leaders in the church, we need to learn to LISTEN and be slow to speak.  Not every situation needs a "prophetic word" to fix it.  Sometimes, people just need a listening ear and your prayers.  They certainly don't, in many cases, need a sermon that condemns them for feeling very natural feelings about a heavy situation.

We need to be a bit more sensitive.  I've seen people lose loved ones and get rebuked for the tears.  I've witnessed people being diagnosed with terminal illnesses and being prophesied to with the expectation that their countenance should change.  Really?

Let's remember, Jesus was a miracle worker when He walked the earth, yet He still had compassion on the people.  And He too had a moment of weeping.  I wonder what "word" we would have given Him...

Back to What Matters...

"And as you go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.  Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely yet have received, freely give."  ~ Matthew 10:7-8

My heart's desire is to fulfill the call on my life for TRUE ministry.  Quite honestly, as I examine the works of my hands, I'm still a bit short.  I have the preaching part down, but I want to do ALL Jesus commanded His disciples to do.  Healing the sick, cleansing diseases, raising the dead and casting out devils are also my responsibility.  I've experienced many of these things on occasion, but I should be so connected to God that these signs are always and consistently in operation.  I accept that responsibility and will obey by faith.

It's very scary... and also humbling to know that thee things CANNOT be done in my own strength and knowledge.  No number of conferences, summits, or meetings... No amount of schooling or money... No fancy suits or expensive shoes...  No number of Facebook friends or elite connections...  No gimmicks, tricks or entertainment...  Nothing but the power of God can fulfill God's purpose in us.

Humbled.  Joy is ready to stop trying and just allow God to use me.  Some won't like it... So be it...  Back to what matters...

Sanctified by the Word of God

"Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth" (John 17:17).

In Jesus' prayer to the Father, He asked that His disciples, His followers, be sanctified by the word of God.  Sanctification is the act of being set aside, or consecrated.

The word of God is meant to clean, purify and separate us.  It was never intended to be used as a co-sign on our sin or worldly thinking.  The Scriptures were ordained for rebuke, correction and instruction (2 Timothy 3:16).

God's word should not be a weapon we use for debates and arguments, to cut and slander one another.  Neither should we study it seeking loopholes that will justify our carnal thoughts and behaviors.  Instead, it should be a tool... it IS a tool - sharper than a two-edged sword, to discipline and purify us.

Even in my own life, I am in yet another season of self-evaluation.  There are some things God is pulling me away from, not necessarily because they are wrong or blatantly sinful, but because they are COMMON.  To be set aside means a difference must be evident.  Holiness is unto perfection, so pruning is a continuous process.

We, indeed, are sanctified through the word.  The lack of holiness in our lives is a direct reflection of our ignorance of God's word and a lack of relationship with Him.  Holiness is not up for debate.  We must be different.  Where is the remnant? What is God's word pulling off of you?  Don't fight it.  Just let God mold you into the vessel of honor Jesus prayed for you to be.

Ladies, Can We Talk?

"I desire therefore that in every place men should pray, without anger or quarreling or resentment or doubt [in their minds], lifting up holy hands. Also [I desire] that women should adorn themselves modestly and appropriately and sensibly in seemly apparel, not with [elaborate] hair arrangement or gold or pearls or expensive clothing, But by doing good deeds (deeds in themselves good and for the good and advantage of those contacted by them), as befits women who profess reverential fear for and devotion to God."  ~1 Timothy 2:8-10, AMP

Ladies... woman of God, can we please talk?

Don't get me wrong.  There is absolutely nothing wrong with dressing up and looking nice, BUT, where is the MODESTY in today's church?

Fake nails, fake hair, fake eyelashes, fake butt, fake chest... More bling than power... More makeup than a drag queen...  Fishnet stockings???  REALLY???  For some, the church sees more of your hips and breasts than a KFC employee!  Where is the MODESTY???

So many of "God's women" look like the world.  It's all about a suit and a designer bag.  Why?  What example are we setting for the younger women in the church? We are showing them that it's more important to look good than to DO good.

Can we just be real?  Some of us know good and well that no demon can be cast out... No prayer warfare can go forth, because our clothes are too tight and shoes are too high.  It has really gotten out of hand.

God wants us to be authentic.  How can we know those who labor among us in the realm of the Spirit when no one sees the real you in the natural?

I'm just saying... It's really gotten ridiculous.  Some of us really need to pull that in!  ORDER IN THE CHURCH!!!

Where's the Rod?

Parents and Preachers,

Our children shouldn't be bad!!!

"Withhold not correction from the child: for if thou beatest him with the rod, he shall not die. Thou shalt beat him with the rod, and shalt deliver his soul from hell." Proverbs 23:13-14 KJV

"Don’t fail to discipline your children. They won’t die if you spank them. Physical discipline may well save them from death." Proverbs 23:13-14 NLT

It's the word of God! There is a HUGE difference between physically punishing children in love and abusing them. I don't advocate abuse by any means. It concerns me that so many believers now feel that all physical punishment is abuse.  We mustn't throw out the word of God because of the ignorance and ill manner of a few. True, godly parents, who follow the word of God, understand how to discipline in love, with the rod.

It's the Bible. It's still the truth, and it still works. In fact, it's one of the best things my family (notice, I didn't just say 'parents') did for me. ORDER IN THE CHURCH!

Wealth in Action

I just want to give a shout out to those who invest money into ministry and the Kingdom of God.  There is this misconception that those who don't have big houses, luxury cars and eccentric games are broke and lack faith.  Not so!

Believe it or not, there are a host of people who invest into the community - churches, outreach programs, people in need, etc.  They live off a portion of their income so that others can be blessed.  They are always helping others.

God has certainly not skipped over them.  They are not suffering a lack of faith.  They are living in abundance by giving of their substance, and they are HAPPY TO DO IT!!!  They understand it is more blessed to give than to receive.

You know who you are.  God sees you, and that's all that matters.  ORDER IN THE CHURCH!

Check the Motive

Do we preach the Gospel... Minister to others... Teach doctrine... because we love God and souls, or because we want to be right?

Let it begin with me.  I am checking my motives in 2014.  I am asking God to give me a yearning for souls like never before.  It's so easy to get caught up in the routine of ministry and service that we forget the true purpose.

We argue, rebuke and correct, but why?  Is it because we are hurting for the souls that are lost and so desperately want to see them saved?  Or is it because we don't want to be challenged?  Is it because we must be right?  Is it because we deserve respect, and their disagreement doesn't fit the bill?  Selah.

2014 False Prophesies... Brace Yourself!

Your 2014 prophecy might be false if...

- You have been given new assignments to begin on January 1 without completing those given in 2013
- The word includes the addition of house, cars and/or spouses, but nothing about holiness and repentance
- There is a charge for the word, disguised as a "tax-deductible donation"
- The same prophecy has been given to everyone, including those who have yet to live for Jesus Christ
- You haven't heard from God all year
- It includes numerology disguised as "God's divine math equation"
- The word hasn't been judged by other prophets for accuracy
- The one prophesying doesn't give enough time to prayer and worship to hear God clearly
- The one prophesying can hear God about the world and all its issues, but has a jacked up home of their own
- The one prophesying doesn't follow order or accountability, but feels free to say and do whatever he or she desires
- The word doesn't bring correction and instruction
- The word brings more questions than answers

PLEASE remember, God is not moved by time.  Let's not get stupid because the date is changing.  Don't lie on God!!!  ORDER IN THE CHURCH!

The Thin Line...

2 Corinthians 6:16-18
"And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty."

We are often reminded that we are IN the world, but not OF this world.  We understand that we should not lust after or love the things of the world, making them an idol before God.

So many struggle with the fine line between enjoying a godly lifestyle, filled with the joy of the Holy Ghost and indulging in worldly culture and/or activities.  On the one extreme, some of us are led to believe that EVERYTHING outside of church or ministry is a sin or a spirit.  On the other hand, there are those who believe EVERYTHING is okay, as long as one professes to follow Christ.

So, how do we determine that proverbial line?  We don't.  God has already done so.  The standards are in His word, and when the line is unclear, the Holy Ghost directs us.  I know that millions of prophesies are stirring for 2014.  I'll just say this... I pray that in 2014, we'll see a greater reliance on being led by the Spirit of God, rather than people, preachers and/or public figures who set the "church culture" by making such determinations for others through media, books and mega-revivals.

People have lied, led me astray, disappointed me, stolen my joy...  God - never!  His word is always true.  His faithfulness and love are unwavering.  The Holy Ghost, who teaches ALL THINGS... He's my guide.

In short, what has God said directly to you?  If you can't hear Him, discern His heart and know His mind, you will never be satisfied.  Preachers are good - called of God as instruments, but a PERSONAL relationship is essential.  You can't build strong faith on hearsay.

THE LIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS

I saw this poem online, and had to share.  All I can say is "Amen."

The Light Before Christmas

Twas the night before Christmas; and strange as it seems
I wasn't indulging in covetous dreams;
But reading my Bible, I searched for a clue
Why Christians take part in this holiday too.

I plainly could see that it carried His name,
But the spirit behind it just wasn't the same.
The songs spoke of wise men, of virgin and child,
Of shepherds, of Yah, and all men reconciled;

But nothing was said of the blood and the tree;
Of repentance, and faith, and of counting the cost.
They sang of the babe, His miraculous birth,
But not of the day when He'll judge the whole earth.

My Bible said nothing of Santa, or toys,
Of Frosty the Snowman, and small drummer boys.
A reference to Rudolph not once did I see.
But it seems Jeremiah did mention the tree.

I sat and I pondered this curious matter,
When out on the roof there arose such a clatter
That I knew in a moment he soon would be here;
So I prayed in the Spirit and stood without fear.

He slipped down the chimney, quick as a flash,
And stepped from the fireplace all covered with ash.
There stood St. Nick with his bag and his beard,
He looked at the Bible I held, and he sneered,

"Another fanatical Christian, I see;
No stockings; no holly, no pictures of me."
I asked him if Messiah was the word in the flesh,
He said that was something he couldn't confess.

He said, "I am Santa, I come from afar."
I stood in the truth - "The Devil you are.
That suit and that beard doesn't fool me one bit.
Your jolly deception is straight from the pit.

Beneath all your Ho Ho Ho's Lucifer lurks;
With your all-seeing eyes and your gospel of works
Like a thief in the night you impersonate Christ,
Returning to judge the naughty and nice."

"So call Christmas pagan," he said, "That's O.K.
'Cause that's what my sons at the Watchtower say.
You'll look like a pagan or like a deceiver,
But none will suspect you to be a believer."

I said, "I don't care what your servants will say,
My loyalty lies with the Ancient of Days.
No matter how many abuses are hurled,
My Bible says be not conformed to this world.

You have no power, and no part of me,
So I stand on Yah's Word, and command you to flee."
He squealed like a pig that was stuck with a knife.
He ran to the chimney and climbed for his life.

And I heard him exclaim, as he drove out of sight,
"Merry Xmas to all, and a long, dark night."

Discernment and Social Media

*** NEWS FLASH ***

This post is specifically for believers - those who claim not to know about, but to truly KNOW Jesus Christ.

The Holy Ghost gives us wisdom and discernment.  It is through the Holy Spirit that God gives us divine knowledge and understanding (1 John 2:20).

With that, we cannot blame those who have no trust or confidence in the God we claim to hear from when the "saints" continuously post lies, gossip and false news all over Facebook and other social media.

Real talk... PLEASE check the source before you share news stories and preach to others about praying, fasting, etc.  Use discernment.  Don't believe and share everything you see.  Use wisdom.  Don't entertain gossip by spreading lies, even on line.  CHECK THE SOURCE.  www.urban-etc.com is not a valid news site.  What does CNN say?  Fox news?  Something...

If we cannot, with all our Holy Ghost and divine wisdom, decipher truth from a lie when it comes to the simple things, how in the world can we claim to hear God in the major matters of life?  It's no wonder people are losing confidence in the church and Christian leaders.

Certainly, we all make mistakes.  However, being ignorant and foolish is not acceptable.  We must walk in godly wisdom and maturity.  If we are not mature or sensible enough for Facebook, Twitter and the like, it's better to stay away thank to risk your integrity with the Gospel.  Selah.

Remnant, Come Forth!

The word of God is true. My heart aches at the commercialization and corruption in the local church.

Please know that not everyone who preaches in a pulpit belongs to God (Matthew 7:21-23). It's time for the true remnant of God to stand, cry aloud and spare not. This is not the time to be kind to the spirit of darkness. False teachers will be exposed.

I often hear people say they don't want to stand out against false teachers because it makes the church look divided. I submit to you today that the false teachers are doing just that. Where is the voice that will cry out in the wilderness?

The "preachers of L.A." (and the like) are NOT the Church. They are not my brothers and sisters. They are not my co-laborers in Christ.  God's people cannot stand with anyone who preaches and represents a false gospel, no matter how good it looks or how good it sounds. The world is waiting for the TRUE manifestation of the TRUE sons of God.

I encourage you... cry out. Preach the truth. Doing so will not divide the Church. It will show the world God's TRUE Church.

Be Ready!

"But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear: Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ."  1 Peter 3:15-16

Church, we must BE READY at all times.  After all the studying, praying and fasting, we should ALWAYS BE READY to share the reason for our faith, without getting rude or defensive.

Some of us have "played church" so long that we can't truly worship God without a Hammond B3 organ.  We "faked it until we made it" so long that we can't preach unless a sermon is pulled off the internet.

When Jesus comes back, there will be no time for rehearsal and searching through notes.  What's in your heart?  Those who truly know God and spend quality time with Him are ALWAYS READY with a word, a praise and worship rooted in spirit and in truth.

There's no such thing as a prophet who can't lead a soul to Christ.  No true pastor exists who doesn't have compassion for the hurting.  Every real apostle understands that worship is a matter of the heart, not format.  DISCERNMENT... Never leave home without it!

Is It You?

My mother taught me a valuable lesson when I was younger. It's echoed in the word of God when Jesus teaches, "But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established" (Matthew 18:16).

If everyone hates you, leaves you, abuses you, misunderstands you, offends you, disobeys you, attacks you, takes advantage of you, is jealous of you, mistreats you, etc., it's like that the real problem is YOU. Sometimes, the majority vote is right.

Don't Judge the Book by Its Cover

But the Lord said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart. 1 Samuel 16:7 KJV

NEVER judge a book by its cover.  In this season, it's more important than ever that we use DISCERNMENT in the Body of Christ.  People are hurting, and so many are rejected or turned away due to their appearance, personality, culture or mannerisms.

In like manner, we must no longer assume the power of God rests upon a person, with all the anointing of God, just because they drive the right car, wear the right suit and hoop in the right note.

God searches the HEART of a man.  This is the season for maturity.  Too many have been hoodwinked, bamboozled and led astray... and it's our own fault.  We've judged incorrectly.  We trusted our emotions rather than God's Holy Ghost.

Let's begin with self.  Let's stop spending two hours getting our appearance right for church, knowing we only spent one hour (the whole week) in prayer and Bible study.  On any given Sunday, it's a proven fact that over 95% of confessed believers spend more time in the mirror than they do in God's presence.  What a shame.  WRONG PRIORITIES!!!

God Did It

People of God, be encouraged!!! Oftentimes, God demands things of us that make us feel inadequate. We know that without Him, we are nothing. That's the beauty of it... Our Father sees so much more in us than what we can see in ourselves. He sees Himself in us... His power, His authority, His Spirit.

During my morning walk, the Lord reminded me of this, as I've been pondering over some very large and seemingly difficult assignments that have been placed in my hands. I'm encouraged, remembering how God did it so many times before. This time will be no different. GOD will do it, so I can relax and enjoy the ride.

Die to self and obey. You don't have to do anything in your own strength. Christ lives in you, and He will complete the work (Philippians 1:6).

Why Feed Holy things to the Media?

OBSERVATIONS AND QUESTIONS...

We are casting our pearls to swine...

Why do we post pictures and videos of people worshiping God or receiving deliverance without their permission?  I find this very distasteful, yet it's all over the internet - Facebook, YouTube, etc.  Praise breaks, "prophetic" words, the laying on of hands...

What is the point?  This doesn't glorify God, but man, in most cases.  On top of that, it gives the world something to mock, as only those led by the Holy Ghost can discern spiritual things.  More importantly, it makes people vulnerable, without their permission.  Is it really worth violating someone's trust in order to promote a church or ministry who wants to "prove" they have power?

People should be able to go to church and be free without the interruption of a camera.  God's house is a sacred and safe place... or at least it should be.

We must do better...

Hold On...

1 Thessalonians 5:21 "Prove all things; hold fast that which is good."

We need to HOLD ON to those things that are good. Not everything old is bad. The modern church could benefit from holding on to what has worked for years!

Our modern-day praise and worship songs are centered around the word of God (or should be), and that's great. Still, I miss those old-school songs my grandparents sang that were birthed from testimonies - true experiences with God. Those old songs were powerful, because they came from the heart. They were birthed by a generation that was driven not by pride, but appreciation. Truly, they had the heart of David in those days. God did it, and they sang about it!

Everyone Must Obey God's Word... Even YOU!

"Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away."  Matthew 24:35 KJV

The word of God is SURE (2 Timothy 3:16).  None of us are exempt.  We must obey the word of God, including the parts about obedience, giving, living a holy lifestyle, praying, fellowship, controlling our speech, loving one another, and everything else.  The requirement doesn't change, and it will never go away. Systematically ignoring any portion of it is SIN (James 4:17).

Too many of us are subtly erasing portions of God's word in application to our own lives while systematically excusing the same.  The Holy Ghost reminds us of all Jesus taught and did... Not just the things that we're comfortable with.  Remember, God's word is meant to cut and mold us (Hebrews 4:12), not the other way around.  We don't need to adjust the word of God to fit our own lifestyles.  The Scriptures are a mirror that show us our true, messed up selves.  Once we see the truth, our prayer should be to be purged and cleansed (Psalm 51).  When we confess, God is then faithful, through the blood of Jesus Christ, to cleanse us from ALL unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).  It's supposed to "hurt" every now and then.  That's how we are perfected in God.

Let's learn to confess our wrong.  Repent, for the Kingdom of God is at hand.  Let's get it right, in Jesus' name.  HOLINESS is the only way!  None of us are so special that we are exempt!  ORDER IN THE CHURCH!

Get in Order

Order is necessary. Jesus didn't do anything He wanted to do, nor did He say anything He wanted to say (John 5:30). Yet, so many of us feel that our gifts or tenure in the church somehow qualify us to do as we please. Not so! This walk is not about us. It's a walk of humility... one that must bring glory to the Father.

Obedience is required! Order is necessary! Discipline and self-control must be employed. The flesh must die. The time will come, if it hasn't already, that all of us must do things we don't desire to do for God. Still, right is right. One who doesn't have the discipline to obey God's word and be accountable to His people simply doesn't belong to Him. No more excuses! Holiness is impossible without order!

Notwithstanding...

Revelation 2:20 "Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols."

There are some good, godly leaders in the church who will discourage us from receiving every voice. In this age of "cyber ministry", discernment is more necessary than ever before. When true, called leaders of God advise you against "strange" doctrines, "new" revelations, and "prestigious connections", it's not always because they want to "hold you back." Anointed leaders understand they have a responsibility to protect God's people from seduction and deceit.

Laborers, Come Forth!

Matthew 9:37-38

"Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest."

Where are the WORKERS, the LABORERS in God's Kingdom? So many of us truly feel we are busy filling the roles of titled celebrities in the church. However, God is looking for fruit... fruit that remains! How many more services, convocations and conferences will we have where souls are not being saved, healed, delivered and set free???

In this time where so many are seeking prophecy and apostolic power, evangelism is dwindling away. Few truly know how to win souls, which by the way, doesn't include recycling "church folk." It's about leading people to Christ and allowing Him to do a work, completed by the Holy Spirit, that will bring glory only to God - not any man or woman.

There are many souls to be reached, but only the wise will be successful (Proverbs 11:30) in truly leading them to repentence and eternal life through Jesus Christ. The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom (Psalm 111:10). God is looking for those who fear and respect Him so much that they can be trusted with His power. He knows it will not be abused or used for vain glory. Is that you?

How many souls are truly converted - truly born again and filled with the Spirit of God, because of your LABOR (which doesn't include pompous talk, elaborate rituals or hosting vain fundraisers disguised as revivals)?

No title or position means anything without the power of God. His power requires acknowledgement of who He is FIRST, followed by fruit - the harvesting of souls. Change a life by yielding to God! Titles, position and everything else is vain if people are still spiritually sick and dying.

APOSTLES have no real power if they cannot save souls! The job of an Apostle is not just to build buildings but to establish and set order in the CHURCH, which is established by Christ to snatch SOULS from the Kingdom of darkness. Let's not get it twisted. No true believer is exempt, whether apostle, prophet, bishop or anything else. If ministry keeps us to busy to minister to sinners, that "ministry" is questionable.

No matter how "high" you get, the work of the EVANGELIST (ministry of reconciliation) is YOUR responsibility! ORDER IN THE CHURCH!

Happy Memorial Day!

Interestingly enough, this is the day we set aside to honor our fallen soldiers and veterans here in the USA… those who died for the rights and freedoms we so enjoy, and often take for granted. In reflecting on those who have died for my rights, I find it interesting that even now, my rights as a Christian – the right to speak and teach the true word of God, are challenged more than ever before.

Of course, we could argue from a historical and theological perspective whether or not our USA was truly founded on Christian principles. Despite all the technicalities, our forefathers fought for their rights as believers and their perception of what that may be. Whether we agree on the interpretation or not, the fact still remains that the very laws and backbone of this democracy are built upon biblical principles by a people who served the one true and living God... of the Bible.

With that, I note (with all due respect) that those we honor today – the fallen soldiers and warriors of the past and present, died for those same principles. The majority of the slain men and women left this life with a dog tag and cross around their necks… not a swastika, Buddha or star and crescent. Yet, it seems in this country, more and more each day, that the very principles for which they fought are under attack.

It often seems that in order for others to feel equal, the Christian beliefs we hold so dear are typically the ones that must be sacrificed. No other country in the world has operated in this manner – sacrificed its foundation to make others feel comfortable. While I love the diversity of America and and respect everyone’s rights to make a choice, I certainly won’t stand back and let others judge me because I choose God’s way – the way of the Bible… the principles of Scripture, the traditional thought of the USA.

Our history, as a country, has been painted with many wars: The Revolutionary War, the War of 1812, the Civil War, the Spanish-American War, the Vietnam War, and countless others. All were fought with the rights of the American people (and their neighbors) in mind. Many bore undertones of the right to worship and live, according the laws of our country – the same laws that were based on a biblical foundation.

This is a country where adultery and fornication were once illegal. Homosexuality was considered not only illegal, but insane, literally. Abortion and the overconsumption of alcohol were unthinkable. There was a moral code, based on the Bible that propelled us to become the great nation we are today and have been for many years. Unfortunately, somewhere in our history, people began to believe that being free meant removing our biblical code of conduct while labeling those who maintain the principles upon which this country was established as haters and heretics. How ironic! God’s word, whether you believe it was interpreted correctly or not, led us to become the greatest nation on earth.  Why are we so quick to forget and dismiss the same?

Let’s remember that Jesus Christ was the first fallen warrior. He died, first, for us to have eternal life. He hung on a cross and shed His blood for me. Without the gospel of Christ and the Holy Scriptures, there would be NO America!  That's a fact.  Hundreds of thousands, in this country alone, also died for our liberties. Whether we want to believe it or not, the MAJORITY died for a Christian country. They had Christian beliefs and when faced with death, prepared to meet the God of the Bible - the God of Abraham, Isaac a Jacob... the God who is holy and commands His people to live holy. Certainly, I have a right to preach the Gospel, as long as I show love and respect for others. I stand on the word of God, and I have a right to do so, as do any others. Standing for holiness doesn’t mean that I hate or disrespect those who disagree. It doesn’t mean that I’m a threat to those who choose another religion or another way of life.

As I remember our fallen on today, I am thankful. I am also relentless. I’m not full of hatred or anger. In fact, I tell the truth, because I love people. Hell is real, and I wouldn’t want to steer anyone in that direction. Some things are just wrong… period. I have a right to stand on holiness. I have a right to preach God’s word. I have the right to share His love. Jesus gave me that right eternally, and those we honor on this day fought for that right with their very lives.  I will not lay down.  Too much has been sacrificed...

To those who celebrate with me, whether you believe as I do or not, please don’t shut down or disregard the rights of those for which so many died to justify and label your own opinions and “lifestyle alternatives” as a case of civil rights. Like it not, we are all free because many men and women died for a country that has always professed to be one nation, under GOD!  As my grandmother would always say, "Don't bite the hand that feeds you."

Happy Memorial Day!  I am grateful!

Praying for Boston

As we pray for Boston, the victims of this senseless tragedy and the families of those who have been affected, I am also praying for believers, particularly those who walk in the Ascension gift offices.

Truthfully, we are too often caught off guard and end up praying for tragedies AFTER they happen, when we should be spiritually tuned enough to see them coming and intercede proactively.

Amos 3:6-8 says "Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the Lord hath not done it? Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets. The lion hath roared, who will not fear? the Lord God hath spoken, who can but prophesy?"

God's word is true. He cannot lie. If we would seek God as true watchmen, He will warn us of these things. Intercession is meant to be proactive, not reactive.

With that, I am examining myself... my own worship and accountability as a prophet of God. Is my ear readily available to the Father? Is my worship consistent enough? Am I spending too much time in prayer talking, but not listening?

Again, let the world do what the world does...

Please don't misunderstand what I'm about to say...

It concerns me that so many believers are almost obsessed with pointing out the demonic in worldly, secular people like Jay-Z, Beyonce, Will Smith, etc.  Yes, we need to be aware of the enemy's devices BUT...

The world is doing what the world should do.  It does not benefit us to spend so much time studying and sharing the enemy's activities.  Of course, they're demonic... They are in the world!

The Word of God lets us know that if we see error and fail to correct it, the blood is on our hands.  We are to warn the offender, not gossip about the state of the person to others without bringing change.  So, my question is this...  If God is revealing all of this information to us, who has He called to go and bring deliverance?  Who is really praying, as opposed to sharing the videos and blogs?

We cannot be deceived or distracted.  Instead of warring in the spirit realm (not against flesh and blood, but principalities and powers in high places), we are easily getting caught up in gossip followed by no change.

Unfortunately, the same even happens in the church.  We are quick to post videos and share statuses about those who have fallen, but VERY slow to war on their behalf.

The true question, again, is WHAT IS THE CHURCH DOING?  Let us examine ourselves.  How many of us are involved in demonic activity?  More than we know...

Form Letter Prophecy??? SMH

People of God, PLEASE stop seeking "a word" from false prophets turned celebrities. Use discernment.

No true prophet sends out blanket form letters to thousands of viewers, fans and donors with the same "prophecy" for everybody. No true prophet actually takes time to record your "personal" prophecy on CD. If it were really personal, wouldn't it make more sense for them to call you? Come on! God did not give them a vision of your situation. They did not see the state of your heart. Let's be real... that is NOT a personal letter or note to you. Do not be deceived.

You must be responsible for your own deliverance and your own salvation. Don't allow false prophets and teachers to deceive and take advantage of you. God loves each of us enough to place tangible leaders in our lives. STOP sending gifts and donations to those who don't care to know you or minister to you personally. Stop supporting those who are not reachable.

Whenever someone can ask you for money or time, and you respond, yet you're not ever able to reach them directly by phone, appointment, or anything of the sort... Well, that's a pimp, not a called man or woman of God!!!

A Weight Loss Testimony

TESTIMONY TIME

I am not at all one to share private information on line, but I really pray this will encourage someone.  In 2011, I reached my highest weight ever.  Stress, due to the pressures of life, work and ministry really made a heavy impact on my body and health.  I was diagnosed with Type II diabetes and a host of other issues, leading my doctors to suspect lupus.

To make a long story short, I'd narrowly avoided three surgeries (of various types) by the time I started having debilitating health issues in late 2011.  As I underwent a major surgery in the Spring of last year, I prayed and fasted, as a woman of faith, that God would heal every issue in my body.  At some point, though, I realized God had empowered me to change some of these things myself.  I owed it to my family, both spiritual and natural, to do all I could to improve my own situation - works, couple with prayer.

Today, after adopting a healthy diet (yes, I still eat chocolate) and moderate exercise regimen, I am 100% healthy.  No diabetes.  No lupus.  No high blood pressure.  45 pounds gone, with about 15 to go!  I feel great, and I'm enjoying abundant life in Christ as every born-again believer should.  I thank God for wisdom and His ability to heal.  Faith will not only drive us to pray, but faith will make us DO.

"For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also" James 2:26.

Through Christ, YOU can do all things!!!  Be encouraged.  Don't just believe God to fix your situation.  Work with Him and His word, which cannot return void.  AMEN.

"Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth" 3 John 1:2.

People of God, take care of yourselves.  We can't preach the word of God with signs and miracles following if we're sick always sick, tired and weary.  Let's stop eating fried chicken every Sunday while asking God to lower our cholesterol.  Let's not make Sunday morning the only time we get exercise.  While it is important to appreciate the beautiful beings God made us to be, let's admit when we are unhealthy rather than just dressing up.  We can and must do better...  We start by telling ourselves the TRUTH, as the truth will make us free.  We must admit we have a problem (confession) before we can be healed (deliverance). AMEN.

We Must Live Holy

1 Thessalonians 4:7 "For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness."

Unfortunately, there are thousands of theological arguments that many of us entertain.  We can so easily get caught up into battles of wit and semantics.  At the end of the day, nevertheless, God demands something of us.  He has given His only Son, Jesus Christ, to pay for our sins.  He wants a return on His investment, and that return is a life of holiness... a living sacrifice, HOLY and acceptable, which is our reasonable service.

We must be born again... of the water and of the Spirit.  No matter how we choose to label it, the bottom line in this - WE MUST BE HOLY, as God is holy!  WE MUST LIVE RIGHT, ACCORDING TO THE SCRIPTURES.

To have ORDER IN THE CHURCH, there must be order in God's temple.  WE are the temple of the Holy Ghost.  Set order.  Live holy!

I AM DETERMINED

1 Corinthians 2:1-2
"And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God. For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified."

I am DETERMINED to remain humble.  God is awesome!  He blesses and keeps His people diligently.  If we are not careful, pride and the spirit of entitlement will quickly, yet quietly creep in.  We must be DETERMINED to keep CHRIST at the forefront in our lives.  It must be done ON PURPOSE.

Get determined!  Believe it or not, the enemy can easily make MINISTRY (or the perception of it) your downfall.  It's never been about fancy robes, big crowds or eloquent speech.  JESUS AT THE CENTER!!!

Don't Be Ignorant... READ!

I say this with as much love and patience as I can muster...

As God's people, it really bothers me to see so many arguing things, especially in regard to politics, without knowing the FACTS.  I certainly believe God speaks, but when He does, He doesn't share untruths with His people.

Unfortunately, many of us are so eager to stand for something that we rarely take advantage of the spiritual and NATURAL resources we have.  There's nothing unholy about READING, RESEARCHING and ASKING QUESTIONS from the source, before we begin preaching about a thing.

Let's remember that while God does send us into the marketplace, our job is first to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  If we can't preach Jesus, we have no business preaching at all!!!

1 Corinthians 14:38
"But if any man be ignorant, let him be ignorant."

Ignorance is NOT cute, and it's no wonder the world laughs at the church when we show our ignorance so freely.  Remember, men are supposed to see our GOOD WORKS and glorify our Father in heaven... not our inability to decipher truth from a lie.

READ.  PRAY.  Then ASK GOD before speaking on His behalf.  After all, God knows all the facts, despite our insignificant opinions!

The Spirit of Prophecy

Revelation 19:10, NLT
"...Worship only God. For the essence of prophecy is to give a clear witness for Jesus."

True prophets speak of Christ.  They lead others into true worship... in spirit and in truth.  God's prophets don't waste time speaking about houses and cars... There are plenty of psychics and witches to take care of that foolishness.

The Scriptures say that the essence and purpose of prophecy is to speak of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.  If the "word" doesn't point you back to Christ, examine the source.

Who cares what number is printed on your next check?  God doesn't need to announce your birth city or bra size to impress anyone!  There is too much foolishness in the church!  Many of us are literally following and encouraging warlocks in our midst.  Remember, God doesn't turn tricks to impress us.

We must stop being impressed by the gifts and tricks of people who are not sent by God.  A person can abuse gifts and solicit information from any spirit.  No matter how impressive the gift may be, none of that matters if it brings glory to the messenger, but neglects guidance into true worship and holiness.  Examine the fruit!

Get Clean!

“Wash and make yourselves clean. Take your evil deeds out of my sight; stop doing wrong. Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow.” Isaiah 1:16-17 NIV

I used to hear people say, "Cleanliness is next to godliness." Well, the word of God declares that cleanliness is REQUIRED for godliness... spiritual cleanliness, that is! There is no way to escape it... HOLINESS IS RIGHT and required! We must STOP doing wrong. True repentance bears the fruit of change. Yes, we have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God... [Notice the PAST tense...] That's no excuse to continue in iniquity. It's okay to have a past, but we need to let God mold our present. Turn away from sin!

Nepotism is Threatening God's House

Leaders, we must be responsible for the leaders we appoint in the church.  Nepotism is being used in our churches, as a tool for the enemy.  Family ties can never override God's calling and anointing... or the lack thereof.

Per Wikipedia: "Nepotism is favoritism granted to relatives regardless of merit.[1] The word nepotism is from the Latin word nepos, nepotis (m. "nephew"), from which modern Romanian nepot and Italian nipote and Catalan nebot, "nephew" or "grandchild" are also descended."

There are too many churches where family members are appointed to positions of leadership based on their relationship with other leaders, rather than their relationship with God.  Out of order!

It's a shame that we are living in a time when those related to the "preachers" carry the most evil and have such little conviction.  After all, they're in leadership.  They must have it all together, right?  Wrong.

Do It in Private

Matthew 6:1-3  "Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.  Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:"

Leaders, while it's always nice to see what ministries are doing for our communities and God's people, we must be very careful to allow our works to speak for us.  Oftentimes, in our attempts to "advertise" for ministry, we share all the great things that are being done.  Yet, the word of God says that when we do so, we have our reward.

When we serve God in private, He will reward us openly.  In the same manner that Facebook is not the place to air our dirty laundry, we must be equally cautious of proclaiming all the great things we do for the Kingdom.  Humility is a necessity.

Remember Proverbs 27:2, which says, "Let another man praise thee, and not thine own mouth; a stranger, and not thine own lips."  If you or your ministry have been a blessing to someone else, them THEM post it on Facebook and Twitter.

We must stop allowing the enemy to make us feel so good about what we SHOULD be doing anyway!  It's a trap...

Which Presidential Candidate is "God's Man"?

1 Samuel 12:12-15 says,

"...ye said unto me, Nay; but a king shall reign over us: when the Lord your God was your king. Now therefore behold the king whom ye have chosen, and whom ye have desired! and, behold, the Lord hath set a king over you. If ye will fear the Lord, and serve him, and obey his voice, and not rebel against the commandment of the Lord, then shall both ye and also the king that ...reigneth over you continue following the Lord your God: But if ye will not obey the voice of the Lord, but rebel against the commandment of the Lord, then shall the hand of the Lord be against you, as it was against your fathers."

Let me be clear... NO president will "save" us. Only JESUS can do that! In addition, no presidential candidate is "sent by God." Please, stop the prophelying! Our Father allows us to choose leaders that we must then be obedient to. This is nothing new... It's not that deep. VOTE, pray and obey God. Remember 2 Chronicles 7:14? That's the only way to "fix" this country... PERIOD!

It's unfair to expect God to bless us through a leader when the whole reason we have one is due to our own disobedience, as a country and a people, to God's plan in the first place. The people have chosen a separation between church and state, so let's not act like we are putting a Bishop or Pastor in office. Either way, it's a POLITICIAN. Enough said...

I am PROPHET Joy Allen, and YES, I approve this message! Stop lying on God to sway the vote!

Hateful "Christians"

With all my heart, I encourage those of us who see problems in others to make a change rather than complaining and ridiculing them to no avail. Jesus' ministry was one of compassion, power and change.

If God allows us to see it, we should have the power to CHANGE it. Being hateful is not a measure of holiness. I'm literally embarrassed by the many HATEFUL people who refer to themselves as "Christians."

It is NOT our job to put down others and point out their flaws while offering no solution, no power and no redemption. Too many have elevated themselves to a seat of judgment that God never ordained.
The hatred is not working, so let's try something different. Let's show love the way Jesus did. Let's show the lost the way rather than simply pointing out that they are lost. Somebody did that for me... and YOU too!

Let Another Praise Thee

Proverbs 27:2 says "Let another man praise thee, and not thine own mouth; a stranger, and not thine own lips."

People of God, BEWARE of those that sing their own praises.  They promote their own ministries and echo their own names, yet no other voices vouch for the anointing.

There are many false teachers among us.  Those who push and send themselves rather than allowing God to do so through His divine order, including godly leadership in the local church, are trespassing.  They are out of order.

EVERY called and sent vessel of God has someone that will stand with them and testify on their behalf.  With over 7 billion people in the world, certainly there should be one that will confirm who we are in God.

When you are truly called and sent by God, you don't have a say a word about who you are in Him.  God will announce you, and your gifts will make room for you.  There will be no need for "I am" messages and speeches of validation.  Be very cautious of those who feel the need to "tout their own horns."  WRONG SPIRIT.

Don't Waste My Time... Don't Insult My Anointing

This is a heartfelt request to the many who sit under leaders that are abusive or neglectful.  Please do not waste the time and insult the anointing of God's true vessels by clinging to them, chasing after them and demanding true ministry and instruction just to return to the desolate place from which you came.

Yes, we are all servants first.  Yet, there comes a point when we musn't cast our pearls before swine.  As a minister, I must also be a good stewart of what God has given me.  I have assignments that must be fulfilled.

While I would love to help everyone, I simply cannot.  Those who are truly hungry for God will not drain His vessels, then return to the company of devils.

So please, don't insult the anointing of those who are truly called of God.  If you enjoy belonging to a place of desolation... If you enjoy sitting under preachers and teachers with no anointing... If you like the crowds and the divination without ever seeing the power of God... then stay there.

Now, if you truly want change and truly seek the power of God, you will leave the counterfeit.  I dare to speak for other apostolic leaders when I say that our hearts bleed for those who are lost.  Yet they are again trampled upon when we poor truth into people who'd rather live in darkness.

Some don't know the truth... Others know, but reject it.  If that's you, do it on your own time and allow us to minister to those who are truly hungry for God.  Don't let the enemy use YOU as a distraction from God's divine plan.

Get Your Mind Back!

We are in a season of HEAVY warfare. The enemy is faithful to his assignment, while many of us who claim to be believers are being fooled by counterfeit salvation. False conversion is so dangerous, and it is leading many to the pitfall of deception and complacency.

In the season, many are being attacked in their minds. Have you stopped to wonder why so many in the church are being diagnosed with depression, bipolar issues, manic depression, mood swings, etc.?

The mind is part of the SOUL of a man. It is the first area for spiritual attack. This is why it's so important to truly be BORN AGAIN. When we experience the true transforming power of the blood of Jesus, our minds are renewed...

Romans 12:2 "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your MIND, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."

Philippians 2:5 "Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus."

True salvation requires a mindset change. Even our thoughts and emotions must become subject to the Spirit of God. Only then will we be protected from the attack of the enemy.

Your mind belongs to God. Don't allow a Ph.D. clinician to diagnose away your need for spiritual deliverance!

2 Timothy 1:7 "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a SOUND MIND."

I Am NOT Ashamed

I am not ashamed of the Gospel of JESUS CHRIST.  I stand on the word of God and strive to live a life of holiness.  I teach my children to do the same, and I thank God for the grace to have godly children.

PSA: God's word is true, and every man a liar.  I am not ashamed of the Gospel.  I am not ashamed to be sold out for Christ.  To everyone, whether friend, family or foe, please don't act surprised or disgusted when I serve and praise my God.  If it offends you that much, you have a choice - bow now or later.  O yes, at the name of Jesus Christ, EVERY knee shall bow and EVERY tongue shall confess that He is Lord!  There is only one true God, and I give my life to Him.

So again, whether friend, family or foe, please don't expect me to change or hide the truth.  If you can't accept God and all that He has called me to be, unfriend me.  Lose my number.  Do what you have to do, and I'll love you from a distance.  As for me and my house, WE WILL SERVE THE LORD!

Forsake All

Luke 6:27-28 "And after these things he went forth, and saw a publican, named Levi, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he said unto him, Follow me. And he left all, rose up, and followed him."

So many of us turn to God because of what we can get.  Yet, being a true disciple of Christ requires sacrifice.  There is a cost.

Are you willing to forsake ALL to follow Him?  Money.  Job.  Friends.  Family.  "Your" Ministry.  Feelings.  Emotions.

It's time to get our priorities in order.  We have already been given the ultimate gift in Christ Jesus.  Our Father is looking for those who are willing to give something back.  He wants it all... the ultimate sacrifice.  He wants our will.  He wants our lives.  There are benefits, indeed, but the price cannot be ignored.

When it comes to ministry, feelings will be hurt.  Money may be lost.  People will be forsaken.  God may require the very thing you love the most.  Yet, it's worth it!  Those who truly love God don't have time to complain.  They have learned, in whatever state they may be, therein to be content!

Leaders Don't See and Know Everything

"And the LORD spake unto Gad, David's seer, saying,..." 1 Chronicles 21:9

LEADERS, let's remember that leaders don't always see everything. The Body of Christ is designed and equipped such that every joint supplies... every part matters. Every gift must be in operation if the Body is going to run smoothly and be fruitful.

Many leaders fall and fail their assignments, because they feel they know everything. They count is robbery to need other saints, including their own disciples. Not so! God's true, apostolic leaders understand how to lead and learn. They understand how to recognize, trust and nurture the callings, gifts and anointings of their disciples and others.

We know in part... we prophesy in part. A good teacher is first a student. A good leader knows how to follow the voice of God... no matter who He's speaking through.  ORDER IN THE CHURCH!

Don't Forget FAITH

I must encourage the Body of Christ not to forget FAITH. In this day of knowledge and access, there is a desire to instantaneously know and understand everything.

Yes, we must know the Word of God. Yes, we must have a relationship with the Father. However, we will never know and understand everything. We cannot forget FAITH.

I'm bothered to see so many turn away from things simply because it requires faith. We must remember that all we believe and know is based on just that - FAITH. Without faith, it's impossible to please God.

I stand, as a preacher, openly admitting that I don't know and understand everything about God. Yet, I have a conviction that He is real. I have a testimony... personal experiences that I cannot deny. I admit that every experience cannot be explained to satisfy the comprehension of others. BUT THAT'S WHAT MAKES ME A BELIEVER!

In all your getting, get an understanding, yes... but don't neglect FAITH.

For those who are constantly seeking "a word"... Read your Bible. Turn down your plate and get on your face before God. Talk to Him before you expect Him to say something special to you!

TRUE prophets are not popular and not sought out, especially by the rebellious. Why? Their job is to bring correction and instruction... to turn God's people back to Him... Not to more money, houses, cars and spouses.

As noted in Jeremiah 1:10, they are called "...to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant."

Calling All Men...

As we celebrate fathers in the season, we must pray and intercede on behalf of God's men. As a woman in ministry, I am often challenged with the balance of authority and order.

The word of God tells us that there is neither male nor female in the spirit (Galatians 3:28). What does that mean? It means that through Christ, God is able and willing to use any of us, regardless of sex, origin, economic status or any other factor aside from holiness. This is simply the fulfillment of His promise, that His spirit would be poored out on all flesh (Joel 2:28, Acts 2:17).

Still, we must not forget the order of God. Certainly, God gifts and uses women in the ministry and has enabled us to prosper in the world alike. But, does this give us the authority and freedom to dismiss the men of God? God forbid!

I am 100% certain of my call and assignment as a prophet and a pastor. I am also 100% certain of my husband's place in my life. He is my leader, called to love me as Christ loves the church. He grants me the grace to move forward, but I always esteem him as the final authority. He is the priest in my house, regardless of the gifts I have been afforded. At the end of the day, I NEED MY HUSBAND! We are one, and without him, I cannot fulfill the call of God on my life.

The enemy has been busy building a spirit of feminism in the church, but this is certainly NOT of God. In fact, the same spirit that fuels lesbianism will fuel the thought that women of God "don't need a man." Yes, SPIRITUAL LESBIANISM. It's the concept and idea that God's natural order can be abandoned to fulfill a lustful sense of freedom. Beware of that cunning and crafty spirit.

True and strong women of God are not intimidated by the idea of God's men taking their rightful places. In the same manner, a strong and confident man of God is able to flow by the Spirit of God without muting the gifts of God's woman in his life.

The Church must return to God's divine order. Men of God, TAKE YOUR PLACE! Don't wait for it to be handed to you on a platter. Use your authority to walk in your rightful position with God!

Men, you are the stronger vessel. You were created and ordained by God to be the head. So, take your place in the home and in the church. We need you there!

For those men who walk in your divine assignment, remain encouraged. Your strength and anointing are building a generation of restorers in the Church. To GOD be the glory!

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!

Pastors, According to His Heart

Jeremiah 3:15 "And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding."

IGNORANCE is NOT God's plan for His people. Leaders, particularly pastors, are called to equip the people with "knowledge and understanding." When we sit in church and study God's word, we ought to grow in knowledge. KNOW THE WORD OF GOD FOR YOURSELF.

God is showing me a pa...ck of wolves, disguised as pastors. They are controlling and mean-spirited, but very charismatic, at the same time. They seduce the people into believing they are "most powerful." The people are gripped by fear, so nothing is challenged, questioned or discussed, even when the Holy Spirit reveals that it's wrong. The people are discouraged from operating in ministry.

Yes, we do need order! We must remember, though, God's order brings freedom. Order, as defined by men, brings bondage. Please don't confuse the two.

Any leader who is threatened by your understanding of God's word and your ability to hear His voice for yourself is not a leader sent by God. There are some who need to find a shepherd that is sent by God. Every disciple must know God and operate in ministry. We need every gift, every hand and every anointed one busy with Kingdom building. Is it you we're waiting on?

The Sound of War... (REPOST)

The Prophets understand what I mean when I say that I’ve been hearing war drums for the past week.  God is trying to warn His people, as He has been.  Spiritual warfare is heightened to a place where it has never been before.  This time, the enemy is going for blood.  The heat has been turned up, so we must be ready.  This is not a season for preparation, but a season for war!

In our local church, God has been speaking to us more and more about prayer and fasting.  Regardless of our religious backgrounds and teaching, Jesus proved even to His own disciples that demonic power can only be dealt with through vessels who know are prayed up and fasted (Matt 17:21; Mark 9:29).

The pressure is being increased.  God does not warn us to breed fear, but He warns us to prepare us.  We are victorious if we will be obedient and READY.

"...Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up: Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong" (Joel 3:9-10).

People of God, this is the season to GET IN PLACE.  This is NOT the time to be religious.  It is NOT the time to focus on building our “own” ministries and being “promoted” to the next spiritual title.  We need the Apostles to set order.  We need the prophets to warn.  We need the evangelists to win souls.  We need the teachers to instruct in sound doctrine.  We need the shepherds to nurture disciples.

God has warned His people.  He has shown me that we are going to begin seeing the death of our religious idols, both spiritually and naturally.  Look around… Even today another massive earthquake shook the earth – this time in Pakistan.  Our God is not playing.  He is God and He will be exalted as such!  The last days are upon us, and His people must be in proper position.  The church cannot continue to steal God’s glory.

People are dealing with demonic activity on a whole new level.  I’m getting calls from BELIEVERS who are dealing with depression and possessed relatives… Incubus and succubus spirits in their homes… Yet, we have been warned.  Spiritual warfare is upon us.

This MUST be a season of soul winning, but we must also be sober.  Ministry will hurt in this season.  It will require sacrifice, and that looks different for different people.  For some, you may have to walk away from a job, a family member, or even a church.  So be it!  OBEY GOD!  Integrity is key and it is required.

My bowels, my bowels! I am pained at my very heart; my heart maketh a noise in me; I cannot hold my peace, because thou hast heard, O my soul, the sound of the trumpet, the alarm of war (Jeremiah 4:19).

Sound the alarm, Prophets!  Many of you have been holding back…  Warn the people.  Share what you see and proclaim the word of the Lord.  Now is the time to rise and GET IN PLACE.  Let the prophets be prophets!  Proclaim and declare!

Desperate Times Call for Desperate Measures!

Luke 18:35-42 NLT

"As Jesus approached Jericho, a blind beggar was sitting beside the road. When he heard the noise of a crowd going past, he asked what was happening. They told him that Jesus the Nazarene[f] was going by. So he began shouting, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”

“Be quiet!” the people in front yelled at him.

But he only shouted louder, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”

When Jesus heard him, he stopped and ordered that the man be brought to him. As the man came near, Jesus asked him, “What do you want me to do for you?”

“Lord,” he said, “I want to see!”

And Jesus said, “All right, receive your sight! Your faith has healed you.” Instantly the man could see, and he followed Jesus, praising God. And all who saw it praised God, too.

DESPERATE TIMES CALL FOR DESPERATE MEASURES!  Stop worrying about what others say and think when it comes to your praise and worhsip to God.  Seek after God like never before.  Take off the religious costume and get what you need from God!  ORDER IN THE CHURCH!!!

The Gospel, According to the Pattern of DirectTV

When you don't pray, read your Bible and study the word, you lose sight of God's plan for your life.

When you lose sight of God's plan for your life, you end up making wrong choices without God's grace.

When you make wrong choices without God's grace, you become bitter and want only to serve your flesh.

When you are bitter and serving your flesh, you fall to pride.

When you fall to pride, you ...
die, face judgment and go to hell.

When you die and go to hell, that's it... FOR ETERNITY.

Don't forget to pray, read your Bible and study God's word! Give your life to Christ TODAY!!!

Order Shall be Established

‎1 Thessalonians 4:3-5 "God’s will is for you to be holy, so stay away from all sexual sin. Then each of you will control his own body[a] and live in holiness and honor—not in lustful passion like the pagans who do not know God and his ways."
The world is going to live as the world chooses, BUT those who dare claim the name of Christ must live up to a standard of HOLINESS! It's so easy for many of us to judge the world, but forget to check ourselves.

There are so many in the church fighting fornication, homosexualtiy, beastiality, adultery, etc. in the world, yet punking out and saying nothing about it in the church. In God's house, ORDER SHALL BE ESTABLISHED! Before we "save the world" let's clean our own pulpits, choir stands, and usher stations.

Now, that doesn't mean judging and fighting. Let's use the same "power" that allows us to see the wrong in everyone but ourselves to pray and bring true deliverance in love.

Anyone up for a TRUE spiritual challenge... The kind of fight that has nothing to do with flesh and words, but principalities, demons and powers in high places?

It Might Be Idolatry

We all remember the comic series, “You Might Be a Redneck if …”  It was very successful, because it was actually funny.  It dealt with real stereotypes and forced people to laugh at themselves.

In the church, we also have some stereotypes that, unfortunately, are based in some truth.  In this case, though, it’s not a laughing matter.  No is the time to cry aloud and spare not like never before.  Idolatry is very real and very common.  God’s people must expose it, change it, and put God back on the throne in HIS OWN HOUSE!

For example:

If the pastor demands royal treatment and expensive gifts, while there are members struggling to pay bills, IT MIGHT BE IDOLATRY!
When a person is "anointed", because they always follow and agree, but labeled a "demon" when they disagree or leave, IT MIGHT BE IDOLATRY!
If the people will drop everything to follow a leader around the country, but won't sacrifice the same to pray, IT MIGHT BE IDOLATRY!
If the people will go broke to buy new suits for the next conference, but fail to pay the same month's bills, IT MIGHT BE IDOLATRY!
When the leader demands to be addressed by a title, but isn't moved by hearing the LORD's name used in vain, IT MIGHT BE IDOLATRY!
When someone rebukes others for not supporting them, but never holds them accountable to holiness, IT MIGHT BE IDOLATRY!
When the women of the church disobey their husbands, but call him disobedient for not listening to the pastor, IT MIGHT BE IDOLATRY!
When the people fear being called to the pastor's office more than they fear God, Himself, IT MIGHT BE IDOLATRY!
When the people shout the church down every time hands are laid on them, but have no private prayer life, IT MIGHT BE IDOLATRY!
When the people always advertise their pastors and leaders, but have never introduced someone to Christ, IT MIGHT BE IDOLATRY!
When the people raise thousands for a new church building, but have never given to the sick or poor, IT MIGHT BE IDOLATRY!
When the people quote, "My pastor says...", but can't quote the Scriptures, IT MIGHT BE IDOLATRY!
When the people pay $50 for the pastor's birthday banquet tickets, but have never given more than $10 in offering, IT MIGHT BE IDOLATRY!
